Filling upside down is way harder than a taifun lol

My 101 Aqua single coil is purring along. I'm starting to get attached to that looker.

I have developed my own quick fill. Pop the top. Dump the juice from bottle; no dripper, just pour it in. Button it up quick and vape. Not bad at all.

Yea I failed miserably on the bottom fill. I had the shaft completely threaded before the chamber Lol. The o ring on top of the chamber extended above the top cap. I had to abort on my way out this morning. I'm sure there'll be a juicy mess on my counter when I get home.

+1...... This works fine for me and seems to be the easiest way possible.

That's your initiation fill. You are supposed to dump it on your lap...he he. I did that a couple times:)

Your 1 step closer to an aqua expert.

Air flow and Juice flow settings..?

PS The Aquas from the CongreVape group buy are now delayed until after the Chinese New Year.

lol

it was just over the top cap and bubbling out slightly. have no idea what the seals were like when I left it on top of a balled up paper towel.

thing was actually hitting great last night for being on top of a provari. I really wanted to refill it to take it to work and wondered if the 2mL from a top fill would make it.

presto-change

I F it up and reduced to taking a KF with about 20% juice left. I had to ration my vapes at my desk while sucking down my wife's gambit in her Taifun at lunch. She works across the street from me so that part is convenient.

I do the same thing except after it get the top cap threaded a little, I flip the aqua over and finish tightening the top cap. Seems to stop any juice from getting pushed thru the channels and out the air holes.

I've only had the Aqua for a day, but that fill method seem to be working best for me.

I pretty much have the bottom fill down pat now. After watching about 5-6 videos of people doing it I finally got it. Top fill was disastrous for me so I had to learn to fill it from the bottom. I will say, I thought I read somewhere you are supposed to get a full 3ml in an empty tank but not so. The most I've been able to put in at any time was 2.5ml... I am really diggin' the flavor this thing is giving me... I might just have to get another!!!

Put a new set of micro's on my Aqua last night, (not the easiest atty to build, but the payoff is huge), and thought i'd share them... Clouds and flavor...:vapor:

Looks like mine, but your wick legs beneath the channel are longer than mine.

What is your total load? I have 1.8 ohms going right now, and to me the flavor is horribly weak. I have some 32 ga kanthal on the way. I am hoping that might help some. My goal is smaller coils, quicker heat, maybe a better flavor.

Please, someone tell me if I am wrong in my assumptions.

I have my Russian at 1.4 ohms, microed, with Trumans wick. The flavor is a million times better.

But the Aqua looks sexy as fV<k on my Nemmy. I just wish the Kayfun would show up in stock. My Russian is awesome, but it doesn't fit my Nemmy, from an appearance standpoint only. Even my co-worker has said that I have my Russian running better than my Nimbus and Aqua.

Please, someone help me with the flavor on the Aqua. I want to like it, as it is pricey, but I am about ready to toss in the towel on this if I can't get it running. As is, it is taking on a lot of dust since my R91 and Nimbus are dominating it in every respect.

IMO 1.8 is way to high for mech dual coil.
I put two 1.2 ohm coils inside aqua. The coils were made from one strand of kanthal. Twisted 30GA or plain 28GA
Total load was 0.6 ohms.
Vapor produced was A+ quality.

I completely agree with you emus. I actually purchased a caravela (clone, brass) specifically for this as well as my trident v2 (clone) just because I feel running 2, 3.6 ohm coils would take insanely long to heat up and produce good vapor. I felt this is really where mechanical, unregulated mods shine. Being able to run 2, 1.4 ohm coils like I normally do on a provari and have the wattage required to heat them up in a similar fashion I'm used to really does an atomizer like this justice.

I'm running 2, 16 wrap coils (same wire) to produce 1.2 ohms to allow it to fire on the provari. It's letting me vape at 4.2 volts, but it's still a good 3-5 seconds before it's at a level conducive to getting a good vape.

I'll give it a shot. I tend to like higher resistance, but perhaps I am too stuck on the single coil idea in my attys. I just worry about excessive TH. I used to run 24mg in my clearos, but I have stepped down to 18 or even 12 in my RBAs and RDAs.

I hit on an unregulated .25ohm Patriot with 6mg and that turned me off. I guess I just need to get over that hurdle. I just have a hard time ignoring a bad experiance... Odd, because I ride my quads like there is no tomorrow, and God knows I have crashed like a .... on them...

The way I look at it (and correct me if I'm wrong) is that even though the resistance is halved, you are still splitting your flow of electrons in two.

Actually, one has twice as many electrons flowing when one halves the resistance and keeps the voltage the same.

Just step down the nic and enjoy fantastic quality vapor and wonder why all your juice inventory is disappearing.

I can go from nothing to vaping on my Russian in about 3 minutes.

I can't hold the coils and manipulate the thumb screws on the Aqua..

using 1 piece of wire I wrap 2 coils then just put wire around 1st post set 1st coil go around 2nd post set 2nd coil and connect back to 1st post tighten nut. Takes like 5 mins very simple. My fingers are much to big for them tiny screws on the Russian clone.

Aqua coil building effort is not a factor for me. I have no issue spending a few minutes building a coil(s) that may last months maybe longer.

Right now my only Aqua complaint is I have yet figured out best way to easy hot fill like I can w/ Genny. I do have my aqua setup for dripping and am considering drilling out drip tip baffle. I suggest factory install deck stand pipes to get air jet off deck floor.
