I won't take mine over 30 watts. I prime very, very well. Anything over 30 is burnt-tasting (out of four coils so far, I have two, since Thanksgiving). Otherwise I think it's a better clearo than my others (including nautilus) so the Atlantis is now my go-to clearo. I use it for driving and casual vaping but I primarily drip.

I think for someone who wants better performance than a regular clearo (of course, also having the device that will safely fire it) the Atlantis is a great option. However, for flavor on a clearo, I do have my hopes up for the Subtank.

Word of advice.

When you prime a new coil, let it sit for 10min.

Fire it at 12w take few short hits, wait 1min.
Then at 15w take few short hits, wait 1min.
Take few more hits at 18w. Let it sit for few min.
Then crank it up to what ever wattage you want it to and vape it away.

The wick fiber material in the BVC coil is finicky and needs time to be saturated with juice. Its nothing like cotton in RDA/RBA. BVC coils need "break in" low wattage hits.

I'm disappointed in the Atlantis also. Was having an issue with a scratchy throat and couldn't figure out why....until I tore a used and a new head apart. No thank you Eigate...you can keep them. I'll rebuild mine before I go inhaling anymore fiberglass sheeting.

Picture on the left of my finger shows how flaky these are. The right picture is only very little use and not above 16.5W....the coils was burnt but very wet.

LOL... I don't know how you did it, but you burned the hell out of that coil. Whatever you did to that one, try something different on the next coil and you will probably see better results.

No, I have nothing to do with it. It's the crappy filler material in them. It should tell you that somethings wrong when Aspire is changing them to cotton on the next batches once these are sold out. Fiberglass in any form should never be inhaled. Aspire knows these coils are dangerous. Me, I'm rebuilding all of mine...no way am I going to ingest anymore of this crap. You need to do some research and if you're on reddit or facebook, go check those out too...you'll see I'm not the only one with major concerns on these.

Being concerned is a good thing. But not being paranoid with out knowing all the facts.

Even inhaling cotton made in Egypt 4,000 years ago and not good for you.

Don't know why anyone would buy an Atlantis after the QC issues the BVC coils had.

I don't know what a BVC is. I have been vaping kayfuns and drippers exclusively for the last year. I bought into the hype and the nostalgia of a clearo.

And the laziness of not having to drip for dripper performance..... Should have known.

I grabbed an Atlantis when they came out. My normal vape is a Kayfun Lite+ (I have two) running between 17w and 21w depending on the juice. I tried the Atlantis all over between 20w and 40w and I got huge clouds but very very muted flavor. Nothing I did made it better. Then I broke down a head and replaced the filler with Japanese cotton and again vapor amount was large but flavor was muted. Getting the flavor on a Kayfun is very dependent on correct wicking and when it is right it owns. I sold the Atlantis and it made me a little sad as I had big hopes for it. (Really so after seeing the reviews of it)

Where did you hear that aspire is changing it's wick material to cotton?

I'm back to the kayfun. It's still the bees knees in my book. The Atlantis will be fun to mess with in the future, when rebuilding it become a thing.

If you think I haven't questioned Eigate, think twice. I'm far from new to vaping and I question everything. Eigate is giving everyone the run-a-round on these coils. Their PDF is a joke...it's for exposure and NOT for inhalation. But then again, it never bothered them to send lead based painted toys to the USA. Until they can give me a clear answer, I won't use their stock heads...only the ones I rebuild.
