My favorite is row 5 #11-18. Yep... that makes me very happy in the pants!

What is that stuff? Is that the black palm? YES PLEASE!
I'm fairly certain that is black palm.
Previous conversation about that row...

Rob said- That is wenge as you move to the left there black palm

Row 5 left to right (just my :2c:, might be wrong on a couple)
1 light colored mystery, 2 purplehearts, 7 ebonys, 8 Black Palms, 6 Wenge and another fair skinned mystery.

This is the second time I have tried to work with black palm and the last . IT is a nightmare to work with I have lost some of them to chipping .
Good morning juice junkies :)

Hmmm, must be quite a black beauty. The harder it goes, the nicer it gets. Will those chipped one ends up as Blemished? I guess ppl will still get it for sure.

Thanks Robin and Jan! Looks like there's even less Ebony than I thought. Depending on sale time and date it might be hard for me to get. Oh well I've seen that the Mod Master wants to do more wood this year. So by this time next year I should have some kind of wood. Just hope it's sooner than later.

I love Black Palm, maybe ebony is the way to go, if not many make it through.
I do have my heart set on bp, sorry to hear it's giving you some grief.
guess there's always wood putty, but I know that's not how you roll:)

Wood putty would work for small stuff but not bigger ones. And you can make putty from saw dust and wood glue so you get matching putty.

No putty in the woodvils I have tossed a few in the trash when they chip . Not a big deal lesson learned . I have to learn the hard way sometimes . Wenge and ebony is much user friendly

So far this is the exchange since the Woodvil pic by Robert.

Replies posted here are only from Robert. Robert statements are in RED also.

Question: Id like to know how many of those are cocobolos

Reply: There are 20 cocobolo woodvils the last time I counted

Statement: 170 woodvils they wont all make it through the milling process

Circled in pic: 2nd row from bottom, 7 from right

Statement: That cocobolo will make it even if I have to slow the machine down to snail speed I love that mod myself . Some of the cocobolo has white in it this run

Question: ha, first thing I did too was scan for which would jump out at me as MINE, hell I'd take any black one in the third row down, but the 7th one in from the right would be my first choice, what wood is that?

Reply: That is wenge as you move to the left there black palm

Question: What kind of wood are the purple ones?

Reply: purple heart

Question: What are the bluish looking ones in the third row down (6, 7, and 10 from the left)?

Reply: Ebony

Question: Will the latest RM2 attys fit all the new woodvils?

Reply: I have 1000 brass wells already made from last year . I plan to lower the juice well and open the well up so era chalice and rm2s will work

Question: 2nd row, from Left- #8 and #12. The Golden Brown ones that Dennis is now no longer allowed to look at.

What kind of wood is that ?

Reply: Walnut

NOOOO, one mans garbage is another mans gold :D

hell I'll call dibs on the first one that doesn't make it through milling unscathed, still gonna be too beautiful to just turn into sawdust :)

seriously though I can understand not even wanting to bother to finish one that cracks or chips, but that would make a great out and about mod that you don't have always worry about damaging because it's already pre damaged :)
