I've been a lurker on the forums for a while. I decided to join now as I got deeper into vaping. I smoked for 15 years and about 2 years ago I picked up an ego with a cartomizer. I never stopped smoking I would always go back to cigs. Well about 6 months ago I decided to go full fledge vape and kick the cigs.
The ego wasn't cutting it after a while so I started reading about digital mods and mech mods. 2 montgs ago I picked up a vamo v5 using kanger protanks. The vamo and the ego kept popping coils in my atomizers. I got really into mech mods, I like reading and researching, it is all very exciting learning about battery safety, building coils, and making nicotine liquid.
vaping became a hobby as like a kid build models I was building coils and steeping juice.

I also lurked around here for several months before I joined, glad I did. So much information available for everyone from beginners to advanced users.
What I really like about this forum is how nice and polite the people are, and always willing to help....

Hi there.welcome. I smoked 2 packs a day for 25 years and was able to quit by solely vaping. What helped me a LOT was using a 24MG nicotine juice to equal the amount I was smoking. So I didn't have any withdrawls, irritability or really any cravings. What I did was where I used to smoke, (driving, out with friends, ect) I vaped instead. At first I vaped a LOT!! I mean all day long.! Then it got to where I tapered off a bit. If you do find your craving a smoke just vape and usually the craving will pass. Well I wanted to say hi and wish you the best and congratulate you on quitting!! You can do it! Again welcome.
