was thinking about the cobra, it was either the cobra or the new ac-9. went with the ac-9 should be here in about a month or so. so this will make it my 3rd genny. when i first bought my DID i used the standard 32g, but when i started using the 28 the coils seemed to get easier and less figity. to me the taste is better also. if you do get some 28 or 30 i think you will like it. ya the lower number the thicker the wire and the lower the resistance. it seems like with regular dripping attys and cartomizers i used to prefer higher resistances but with gennys i find lower resistances better.

I received my new cobra Ti about a week ago after buying it from the classifieds. I've used it twice since I got it and I must say that the quality that has gone into making this atty has left me shock....I have been vaping the same flavors of ejuice for months..once I vaped it on the cobra it was like tasting a whole diffrent juice...the cobra elavated the taste of my ejuice to a pure, clean and powerful crisp taste.. I just can't get over it!..feels so strong that I can only take a few hits and have to put it down. I'm actualy feeling satisfied!...With some other attys that I've tried, I have noticed that I have to chain vape to get the level of satisfaction that I'm getting out the Cobra just with a few vapes...Its just amazing, you would have to try it to understand.... I'm vaping it at my norm, single wick, 34 awg kanthal, 1.3 to 1.5 omhs at 5.5 watts. Its rocking my nugget!!!...lol

I am broadly in agreement regarding the built quality and lightness, but in my humble opinion
The Cobra have the hole (on top cap) too small, and this fact affects negatively the vaping.

I have built a U Wick (325 mesh) with a coil of 2.8 ohm @ 4.5 Volts.

The vapour is hot and good flavour, but in terms air-flow the vaping experience suffer.
At this time I prefer the AC-9: more heavy, yes, but I like its flavour over the Cobra
one.

The last I made was about 40mm long by about 45 to 50 wide, I roll tight until it fits snug but slides in and out fairly well. Gonna try 60 next time I need to make a wick.

I am betting more can fit, just haven't tried.

I will say this. I did get 80mm into the cobra. Personally, I couldn't keep it wicking too well. I found taking about 13mm off and leaving 67mm in my tight roll better. It left that slight, very slight, gap around the wick in the wick hole. Now, I suppose I could have rolled that 80mm down even more, but it was thought to roll 80mm that small.
I have 7/6 of 28awg at about 1.0-1.1 ohms. Vapes well. Vape that at about 3v

It does come with quite a tight draw, little too tight for me so i went to the local hardware store and bought a "tip cleaner", basically a bunch of really small drill bits and used it to make the hole just slightly larger. Its perfect for me now alot better then my DID clone which was way too airy
