...itchin' to make my first post and introduce myself that is, so..hello from coastal NC! :)

I joined ECF sometime early this year but have been lurking and reading (lots!!) since 6/18/13 .. The day I squished my last cigarette after 20 years of smelling like an ashtray. I. Feel. Great! Lol
My current setups are carto tanks on 2 provari minis. Nothing fancy, but it has done its job and has kept me from falling off the wagon. Started off at 18mg but now am quite comfortable at 6mg.

So...I've been "researching" for a gift (new toys? Ooh shiny thing!) to myself for making it this far. I'm pretty sure I will run into several huh moments and several grr moments along the way, so with that said, if you see me around please help me with your expertise and guidance ;) thanks!

There! I'm finally out in the open *deep breath in*

Hello, welcome, and congrats on making the switch! You do have some nice gear keeping you off the smoke. The only thing I changed from my Provari and other apv's to was the mech side of things and rebuilding. It took me a year or more to do it but I'm there, :). It really is quite fun and opens up a whole new world to vaping. I still use my Provari with cartotanks for a quick out the door dash until I get comfortable with my builds. I'm getting there though. Keep us posted on what you might have in mind!

Hi, and welcome :)

New and shiny, eh? You've got the bug! GAS! (That's Gear Acquisition Syndrome)

With two of the Provs, you're ok there, so maybe explore some of the different toppers? They'll vape a bit different than cartos, and unless you try one, you won't know if you like them or not. I like the Kanger PT2 single coils, and the Davide Glasso equivalents, and Kayfuns for a great rebuildable bottom coil. (You can rebuild Kanger style coils as well.)

Lots of options - give a shout out for anthing that catches your fancy!

Honestly... I love my iclear 30s. Great flavor and Vapor production.... If you want to move up to bigger and better things I.e. massive clouds and infinitely customizable.... It is time to move on to mechanical mods my friend... But just one word of caution spend time, do loads of research, not only on the best mods & RDA's but also on safety and coil building, and just remember, silver is the number one most conductive metal, and after that is copper. Congrats on making a switch and let us know what you decide.

Welcome Kim! You're WAAAY beyond me (and I think I'm pretty awesome for only being 4 month's away from cigarettes :D)

For $14, I don't think you'd go too wrong: Youde UD IGO-L Rebuildable Atomizer

I have a couple MVPs/VV3s and a kayfun lite clone. Have another kayfun clone and two mini kayfun clones on their way - so, this is my next step (I've been building my kanger coils for about 2 months, and my first kf clone for about a month. Great success on the kanger heads, moderately decent success on the kf (I'm on my 3rd coil - wicking is still not my friend )

Kanthal is cheap (I got a 100' spool of 30g for about $6 from lightningvapes and a $1 bag of cotton from Kroger....) Good luck :)

:edit: hooked on phonics works for me - I *JUST* figured out your handle.....

I have thought about getting an Igo L to try out and get into building coils. Or am I going to waste my $?

I would recommend something with an adjustable airflow instead, so you can find the airflow you like w/o drilling out your RDA. A Trident would be good, but there are many others.

Welcome and congrats on quitting!!!! Is there anything you can do down there to lighten the load of tourists moving through here? Maybe if y'all wouldn't be so hospitable? Getting tired of all the traffic.:p
