When I started vaping, I first tried cartridges, since they were included with the PV. I quickly came to despise pretty much everything about them, and moved on to cartomizers. Cartos satisfied me for a little while, but then I started vaping at 6-volts, and the cartomizer-produced vapor consistently tasted burnt. Then I read about direct dripping and gave it a try, and there was just no turning back. The flavor and TH afforded by dripping just can't be matched.
However, about a week ago I picked up some 4.5ohm cartomizers which, to the best of my knowledge, is a product that's only recently been made available. Anyway, I'll tell you what: For flavor and TH, these cartos are nearly perfect for 6v vaping. If they'd been available 18 months ago, I might have never even tried dripping.
But, dripping is the only method that affords me the ability to switch quickly and easily between flavors. And I've become so accustomed to changing flavors on a whim, that I routinely rotate between three or four different flavors all day long.
So, for me, the ability to change flavors has become the most important vaping feature, and it dictates not only my vaping method, but the type of PV I use as well. In fact, I fell in love with the idea of owning a REO Grand. So, I bought one.... and then sold it after only two weeks. It's a fantastic, great-looking mod, and it works flawlessly. But, if you want to vape three or four drops of Hopscotch, then change to Wyatt Earp for a ½ hour, then a wee bit more Hopscotch, then a little RY4, a bottom-feeder mod will not easily accommodate you.
Anyway, that's why dripping is the method I use whenever I'm not commuting. (Cartos are for commuting. Don't drip and drive, kids!)
