I've got a girly ? on batts....

Hi all you vapefreaks. I've just gottin' into battery mini-mods. Practicing for the real mods. Now, my ?: I've had an e-power for about 3 weeks w/an 18650 smok 3000mah batt. I was reading a post from a vendor which suggests to get an AW 18650 1600mah for a more even 3.7 vape? Can my vapecomrades confirm this and will the AW's fit my e-power M&M(mini-mod)yes,we need more vape abbreviations. ? #2 I've just ordered a 5v box mod(I know, I keep spending $)it was on sale for $16(was 35 & hand made)& free shipping...now could you blame me? back to the ?, he was sold out of trust-fire 14500 900mah, which the developer/builder stated on the web site the trust fire fit perfectly. Now, again...the ?(sorry all)I'm somewhat ADD(squirrl...lol)is this a true statement and one last thing, where can I get safe and real protected batts. I've seen in the past week+/- people are receiving fake batts. I don't think I'd know if one was real or not? I've studied batt U,

I'd recommend an AW IMR 18650 2000mah. Super T has them for 9.95 and they are legit. Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.

The 14500 and 18650 are two different batteries, not interchangeable without modification. (size wise they're different)...

Hi Deach...? was will the trust-fire 14500 the mfg. suggested for the 5V box mod, I just purchased, are they the only brand that will fit the mod?

Yes depending on the box they should work. I have two of the IMR's and two of the trust fire protected I use in mine. DO NOT use below a 1.5 ohm carto on it or it will trip the protection circuit. Personally it's a little too hot for me even with the dual coil 1.5's and I'm gonna get some standard boges to try in there I think (or 2.5 ohm duals). Good luck with the box!!

Footnote. I'm not sure about other brands on the batts. I use the trust fires in my flashlights and 5V box. I've had good luck with them. I have also some IMR 14500's and they seem to be doing ok too..The IMR is the "new" technology that's safer but they are "NOT" protected, Just so you know...
