J-Tank Carto Resistance question

I just received my order that had 2 standard cartos and 2 low resistance. I noticed they all had an engraving on them that says LR. However, when i put them on my multimeter i only get 2.8-3 ohms them. I thought the LR cartos were closer to 2 ohms?

I also purchased an ego-t mega low resistance atomizer. The ego-t is showing 2.1 Ohms which seems right.

When comparing the 2 (ego-t vs slotted cartos in J-tank) the ego T is 200% better so far. it has a smoother vaper and no funny tastes. and much better throat hit. I was under the impression a carto with the j_tank would be better then an ego-T. Could the resistance have something to do with it?

I am assuming that I am doing it right. I set my multimeter to ohms, then put positive on center post of carto and the ground on the threads for the carto. Also, they seemed to have messed up my order. I received 4 LR cartos and not the 2lr 2 std i ordered. So i cannot test the standard resistance ones. Ill have to call when i get a chance.
Other then that my new DON is amazing! However, i am having problems with the button moving to the lock position on it's own when i press the button. i guess i automatically give a slight twist when i press with my pinky.

I've heard that you have to subtract the lead resistance on some meters. Whatever that means lol. I've never used one. Double check your order to make sure it shows 2LR and 2STD then send them an email with your order number. Or call I guess lol. Calling is probably the fastest. Glad your liking the Don! How are you liking the tank? I've never had a problem with it turning on me like that. Mine takes some force to turn. Maybe its because yours is brand new off the lot
