I preordered the new black JAC. I'll let you know what happens.

So when you ordered, it was only available in 23mm, right Zazie? And only black?

I’m not sure when to expect the new screen. I would guess it’ll take a couple weeks. I took it apart already and see how the fire button hits the cable but not sure how to fix it. I hope the new screen doesn’t do the same thing.

The display cable will be the same length as the old one. Just make sure to fold over the cable when you do the screen repair so its away from the fire button.

Thanks, this will be my first time installing a screen so I hope I get it right the first time.

I think I subconsciously gave up on getting another JAC when I ordered some of these yesterday from Asmodus website.

JAC original 22mm Dimensions:

Length: 87 mm / 3.43 inches
Width: 34 mm / 1.34 inches
Depth: 22mm / .87 inches​

Asmodus Collosal Dimensions:

Length: 76mm/2.99 inches
Width: 40mm/1.57
Depth: 25mm/.98​

(if anyone interested CANDY15 reduced the price by $13)

I have a black colossal and just don’t like it that much. I can’t get used to the ridge around the fire button.

ruh roh! You mean I might have to get the Dremel out and grind off the ridge?

When they arrive I'll post back my comparison of it to the JAC.

You may love it. Most people I have talked with really like the colossal. I just can't seem to find a comfortable way to hold and fire it so mine is going into storage.

I did not like my pink colossal and that would be due to the fact it arrived DOA but even so I have no idea why folks rave about them. It felt... cheap.

As far as the Jaq there is no comparison as far as I'm concerned. It's simply GORGEOUS.

Also, I do like many Asmodus offerings and you know what the Minikin 3 (even though it is ugly as sin) happens to be a favorite of mine. I like the M2 better in most areas but that is a vape quality that cannot be beat.

I am waiting to buy a bunch when the go on clearance for 10 bucks because everyone HATES them.

I kind of love mine and I am going to BET that it vapes better than the Colossal which, well I would not know to be fair,.

The fire button on the Colossal is recessed; there isn't really a ridge around it. I like it myself; it makes the button easy to find. The Tribeaut's is flush with the mod, and sometimes it hides on me.

You may love it. Most people I have talked with really like the colossal. I just can't seem to find a comfortable way to hold and fire it so mine is going into storage.

Bugs me a little too. There's not much distance between the button and the bottom of the tank. I like to rest the mod on my little finger. With my thumb straight the end of my thumb goes way past the button, so I have to bend my thumb at 90 degrees to hit the button. If the ridge wasn't there I could press the button with the first knuckle rather than the thumb end. Minor annoyance though.

I received the replacement screen that Jac sent me for free and got it installed. It wasn't hard at all and the new screen is working perfectly.

Even if I did, I wouldn't make much since it only takes a couple minutes to change the screen. It wasn't hard at all.

For the heck of it ... I signed into JAC's site and added one of the pre-order 23mm new JACs to my cart. Price came up at 49.99GBP (~63USD). That's the same price I paid for my original JACs w/ the special US pricing.

Nope, I didn't complete the order. Emtied the cart and backed out. I was just curious.

That's still a decent price for a DNA 75 mod.
