I would think that people living closer to the East Coast would have less of a wait than those living out West??

I'm an East Coaster. My Jac's were ordered & shipped on the 15th, so I'm optimistically hoping for today or tomorrow... lol. :D

Initial Impressions

1. Nice and compact...exactly what I was looking for. Same height as the Radius. Not quite as deep (platform width). But significantly narrower than the Radius. You can almost hide this thing in your hand. My highest priority (size) has been met. Very happy with this feature.

2. Hefty. This little fella has some weight to it. Excellent fit and finish. Yes, it is grippy but I wouldn't say it is exactly rubbery. Just about right. No play in the battery door. Low vis seaming. Easy-to-read screen...plenty bright enough. Buttons require very little pressure. Actually I would prefer the buttons require a little more pressure but not a major concern. Battery door requires a fingernail and easily detaches/reattaches. USB cable and port both solid. No problems charging. The overall feel of this device drips with quality...not that dissimilar to ProVape products. My quality expectations with the JAC have been sufficiently met. Very happy.

3. Appearance...not much to write here. It's a sexy mod.

4. Temperature Control...played with it a little bit. Using a stainless steel coil. So far I am getting ZERO flavor. I mean ZERO! I clearly need to play around with this feature more. The menu to set temp control features is a little wonky so I need to get more familiar with it. Watts mode is dead on. Jury is out on temp control.

Conclusion with Initial Impressions: My two biggest priorities in deciding to purchase the JAC Series-B was size and quality. While I have no way of gauging durability seeing I just received it, I can comfortably say this mod has met all my expectations on these two priorities. I have been very spoiled with my ProVape products so my bar has been set quite high. This JAC Series-B is no slouch. For the things I could evaluate, the JAC is on par with ProVape. I prefer the size of the JAC over the Radius but probably like the buttons more on the Radius. Those would be the only significant differences Very happy to this point. :)

Glad to hear you got it, and you are liking it. The fire button would be my only complaint. Vape on! :)
Yeah, that fire button takes almost nothing to push. That's an Evolv issue. They should put a button on there that requires a little more effort. Can hardly tell the button is engaged. You know accidental firing will be easier with this. Gonna have to be careful.

What a lovely portrait!

Now that I've had it a couple of days, I find that I'm sort of naturally acclimating to the fire button sensitivity, but I also like oplholik's thumb rest tip, which I use now, too.

Also, I just really love it. Whatever the opposite is of "buyer's remorse" is what I have. It's absolutely my fave. Thank you, katdarling and DPlongo for being the torchbearers!

And, @Jingles, I hope you get yours before your weekend trip!

I'm sure there is an acclimation period for that button. While I think the button being firmed up would be a benefit, the way it is now is far from a show stopper. The bevel is an excellent place to rest your thumb. Maybe that's why they kept the bevel.
