Look at your watts as the furnace and TC as your thermostat. The watts generate the heat the TC keeps it at the temperature you want. When you hit the fire button the furnace gives you a blast and as soon as it hits the set temp it kicks back to maintain that temp.

What if you have HVAC?

OK, as you know I was having trouble with my battery door. It was really loose and the magnets finally came out. I pressed them back in place (no glue) but it was still loose. Tried getting the magnets back out so I could add some glue. No go. They wont come out again. Well, by a very small amount each day my door got tighter and tighter. Now it doesn't move at all. Back to the way it was when I first got it. These JACs come with white blood cells.

After a little playtime with the new Jacs, I'm finding they are just like the 1st 2. Battery doors tighter than an old maid librarian & finish and 510 threads smooth as a new born baby's ..... Life is good... :D
Just don't try to screw your atty in a baby's .....

Mine is still as it was upon arrival, but I'm sure that will change in time. I am prepared (blue glue at the ready).

Sound advice is without limit or parallel here on The ECF.

I finally went to Office Depot on Tuesday to buy a Silver Sharpee. The guy tells me they were selling them for $0.25 a week or so ago. Timing is everything — paid $2.49 for one which is better than having to buy a package of 12. Came home and marked the magnets although I wasn’t quite clear on what difference it makes as to what side of the magnet is marked.

Fast forward to this morning. I was getting ready to go out and refilled my Stealth Kabuki. Then I went to change Jac’s battery. Really struggled trying to get the battery cover to fit on properly. Finally gave up after many tries plus I was now starting to run late. I put the Stealth Kabuki on my black Classic ProVari. Ahhhh — leave the house wth ProVari in hand vaping.

Came home this afternoon and was bound and determined to get the battery cover on the Jac. Lo and behold I noticed the magnets from the mod are out of their slots and now attached to the battery cover magnets. Was so happy I took care of marking the magnets but again not sure why. Since I wasn’t quite sure what type of glue to use I was able to insert the magnet into the mod at the top. The bottom though just did not want to fit in the slot. Tried and tried and couldn’t get it in correctly. So I said to myself, self give it up. I put a fresh battery in Jac and the cover attached very easily — very nice. Take Kabuki off the ProVari and back on Jac now. Shake Jac and no rattle or movement of the battery cover. The cover appears to be securely attached with just the top set of magnets. When the battery needs to be changed will see whether the top magnet is still in its slot or whether it has attached to the magnet on the battery cover.

In anticipation what type of glue should I be buying?

I hope it holds up for you!

MY personal preference for glue is:

Matters of opinion, of course. :)

Thanks DP. Will go by Home Depot tomorrow. How quickly does it dry? I ask in case I only get it in partially right and need to adjust.
Looks like full cure is in 24 hours:

Super Glue ULTRA Gel Control Directions from Loctite Adhesives

I've taken to buying the cheapest generic "super glue" I can find, preferably in small-tube multi-packs. In my experience the glue in an opened tube/container will often dry or start to harden between uses (admittedly rare in my case).

It's not an instant 'bond' but sets up fairly quickly, you'll have just a bit of time to fool with it but not much.
