 Maybe I should start sending the links in PMs.

I just checked and the DermStore still has them.

nope. they've been out of stock for awhile.

if you put them in the cart, thats when you're notified of the back order. says restocked in one day, but I dont believe that when all the others say a few weeks/months.

Crap. I didn't get an out of stock message when I put it in my cart, so I thought it was available. I just tried again and didn't get an out of stock message until I went to checkout. Sorry about that.

What's happening is that since it's become so popular these last couple of months, vendors are buying it all up and selling it per pad for disgustingly outrageous prices. I won't be buying anything from any vendor that does this. Pretty sad really.

For now, the only thing I can think of is to try and find it locally.

The're using every trick in the book to try and retain every order and max out their sales on this run. But it seems demand has far exceeded supply everywhere online. I was ultimately able to get KGD when I finally broke down to sort through every nearby store and visit Sephora.

However boys and girls, if you're absolutely chompin' at the bit to get at this stuff, you may obtain a sample supply from a reputable vendor at a reasonable price here…Koh Gen Do Japanese Organic Cotton.

I'd rather give the biz to someone trying to help out their vaping customers than make a quick killing. Don't be surprised if supplies are limited. And check out this great and venerable Zen dealer.

Good B&M's need our support.

Good luck all.

:)

Holy cow, I must've gotten lucky when I placed my order last week (directly with KGD). Scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.

Been using organic cotton balls from CVS in my KFL's. What bugs me is how difficult it is to achieve consistency using such a formless mass of fiber. The analogy that comes to mind is tearing off a piece of modeling clay and forming it into a ball. Now, pull off another piece and attempt to recreate the same same sized ball without adding or subtracting material. Dang near impossible.

Hoping the fibers in these pads are truer.

It sounds like you're doing it wrong. You need to unroll the cotton balls. Find where it's stuck together, and peel it back gently. Then cut some length off and peel some for your wick from the side of the piece you cut. Lick your fingers and roll the cotton down smaller so you get a snug fit in your coil. It works great for me.

Is this Japanese cotton ? They want $5.99 for 10 strands Lol

There's no telling what that is.

Looks like another case of vape retailers trying to screw the uneducated or lazy vaper.

I recommend only buying things from vape retailers that can't be found anywhere else.

Cotton can be found in way too many other places :)

It seems there are lots of vape retailers doing this lately; preying on newbies and undereducated vapers. Selling KGD pads for $2 each. Selling a couple feet of kanthal for more than what you can buy 100' for online. Drives me nuts!

I use CVS brand organic cotton balls. I boiled about half the bag in purified water. Rinsed well using purified water. Let air dry a day or so. I have never had a strange taste. From first puff to last (a week sometimes). I tried Ken Go, and I could taste it. Didn't care for the taste. Maybe the taste would have gone away after while, but I didn't give it a chance. I replaced with the CVS organic.
