JC Juice Question

Hi All,

Got a ...dilemma.

In the last two weeks, I have been using the 3 bottles of JC juice I ordered (regular, cherry, hickory). In that two weeks, the 3 pen style atomizers I have been using have ceased to provide ...good vapor (1 Njoy / 2 Generic). The atomizers lost vapor production within about 3-4 days of using the juice. Also, I have attempted several methods of cleaning as recommended in the forum, and the atomizers still haven't come back to life. (I also tried the juice on a mini, with the same results, but washing the mini a few times managed to bring it back to a state of...acceptable vapor)

Now, I started a 4th atomizer 4 days ago, and have only used cartridges, not a single drop of juice, and that atomizer has been producing excellent vapor and appears to still be going strong. SO, what I would like to know is... What do you all mean when you suggest JC juice "clogs" the atomizer? I don't feel like the bad atomizers are any harder to draw on, but they don't provide sufficient vapor anymore, and going through atomizers that fast puts the e-cig in the very expensive and unacceptable catogory (even at $10 a pop).

I also do not mean to bad-mouth JC Juice, because honestly, my...testing/evaluation is by NO means scientific, and could simply be a matter of atomizer performance/bad luck, and I'm not ready yet to start a 5th atomizer as I want to see if my current one is still functioning well after a full week.

I think, if I find that you'alls (Sorry, I'm Texan) definition of "clogged" resembles my issue, I will probably return the juice and request a refund. ($75 buys a lot of carts/atomizers) or, if I get the vibe that this just appears to be normal atomizer performance, I will just keep the juice, though I will be reluctant to use it in a well functioning atomizer.

Hi Tex, How have you been using your juice? On the JC website it says that it is not for dripping, have you been dripping 8-o
I have been using mine for just topping off or filling new carts and have had no problems. Perhaps you have been drowning your atomisers with too much juice? You could always try it in a cart and see if it still affects your atomisers, if it does, then perhaps you should return it so they can check it out

Your atomizer wont sustain for a long period of time if you are just dripping on the atomizer a special with J.C...the safest option is to drip to top up empty carts this way you will get longer life out of your atomizer.. i have an atomizer soley for dripping but dont use it constantly just when i want a proper throat hit!

I also try not to drip directly on the atomizer with JC juice, though since at the moment I don't have anything else, I have to do it, to prime the atomizer.

I love the taste of JC juice though, I must say. The Tennessee cured is awesome. My only problems is that I don't get much of a throat hit from it which is rather irksome. I have some of Jane's Kick liquid en-route so I might try dripping on my atomizer with that and using JC to prime. Hopefully I'll get that kick back.

Rorschac Maybe you need to try pillboxs totalywiked 36mg juice.
reports are there is a good throat beating!

i use my jc just as flavouring . i mix it with some e-cigs.co.uk juice, only a small amount of JC because i like the flavour.
As for using JC juice soley on its own ...for me it's pretty much useless as far as throat hit is concerned and that for me is what i like in e-smoking.
I'm certainly no expert but from what i've learnt the dripping is gonna ruin your atomizers alot quicker than toppin off your carts, which is what i do and that seems to work for me just sooper
but 3 atomizers in 2 weeks is not right. It's either the issue with JC that some have mentioned about leaving deposits on the atomizer coil and therefore decreasing performance or your smoking your atomizers dry and not dripping enough fluid into them.
I'd go for topping off. works for me anyhow..

It shouldn't be automatically assumed that we all dripped JC's and that's what accounts for the dead atomizers. And really, if we know how to drip and haven't had any problems dripping other juices, the dripping of the JC's should be no excuse. The dripping disclaimer on JC's site was only added after a few of us voiced that we had issues.

And I did admit I dripped my kissbox. My other units that were killed were NOT dripped. The carts were topped up.

So Texas, you are not the only one experiencing problems. I am very sorry that you have lost units.

I just wish Christian would come and say something. This is not an isolated issue. And there are people who still respect and hold true that the JC's juice will be the bee's knees someday. But he can't desert us if there is a problem.

Just a follow-up, I did try dripping on one of the atomizers to determine if it would produce more vapor, however, my goal and use was simply to refill carts. I get the concept of dripping, but I'm too lazy to do it regularly.

And I would think that if the atomizers were flooded that they would return to functional after being cleaned.

I suppose it depends on how much shipping costs. I got some Kick liquid from Jane and I haven't had much opportunity to try it (too much work) but what I have tried is pretty fantastic.

Is pillbox only available on ebay at the moment?
