Looks to me like these guys tracked down the true story of what's happened with the bad cartos that are causing all the trouble for vaping. Certainly the CDC knows all about this and chooses to ignore it.

This is what happens when Pin Headed Regulators see things as a Cash Cow...

A lab-tested medical marijuana vape [THC] cartridge that typically costs $40-$60 in California can run up to $165 in a New York City dispensary. That’s ten times the price of an illicit vape cart.

That price gap has created a thriving illegal industry selling carts through NYC’s clandestine delivery services, at pop-up cannabis markets, and in some corner bodegas.

... And Don't consider the Ramifications of Overzealous Tax/Regulatory Costs.

BTW - Wouldn't this thread be Better placed in the Cannabis Sub-Forum?

Really?
Holy crap. No wonder there's such a huge black market.
And some of the street-carts NBC tested were > 50% Vit-E-a.

I've only been in a CA Dispensary twice. But I was COMPLETELY Blown Away at what kind of Prices are being Charged.

I mean Stratospheric High Prices.

And the person that took me to them said that their Prices were some of the Better around.

I pointed this out in another thread but the $165 in NYC is a medical product vs recreational in CA. Plus, NYC is, as we know, notorious for crazy pricing and high taxes. NY's medical program is also really poorly implemented with astronomical prices. It's not really the best comparison, IMO.
