keep in mind that within a couple of weeks or so of using it, you will probably have to rig it to work. The battery drops in and the pressure of the flip top when closed presses it down to activate charging.

After a bit of use, the lid seems to loosen up and does not apply the appropriate amount of pressure to press the batt down far enough to initiate charging.

It is an easy fix but can be troublesome. You can tape a piece of paper in the lid to push the batt down or just put something in it above the batt so when the lid closes it pushes the batt down. Pain it the .... but it works.

I still use my pcc everyday and would be lost without it. It has this one simple problem but other than that it works like a charm. If you have a 510 it is an absolute must have.

funny thing because this just started happening to me. i set it on the counter upside down and that seems to keep the lid all the way closed. i would hate to put paper in the top, as that seems it would increase the strain on the lid and make it want to open further eventually. maybe i can rig some kind of closure on it that keeps the lid pulled down.:(

thanks for all the quick response. Just wondering if there is anything out there that would charge 2 batteries at the same time that would look like a PCC.

don't want to carry 2 pcc's if I don't have to.

My new 510 battery seems to only carry a charge of 1 hour with continuous vaping.

you know what they say about the candle that burns twice as bright...

(unless its a prodigy, that is)

I don't think it's a lid staying shut problem. It's more likely a case of the contact at the bottom of the battery compartment getting gummed up with juice. Sometimes I can't get the light to turn red and I have to bounce my battery up and down a few times so it will make good contact.

If I push the battery all the way down with my finger and wiggle it side to side the light flickers. It's not a matter of the contact points being gummed up It's simply a poor design. The battery should screw in to assure a good connection.

It's time for a mod then I guess. I would try it if I had an extra screw on connector. But you'd also have to mod the plastic tube it slides into to accommodate the switch turning around in it. Either way it still works the way it is even if it takes a bit of futzing now and then.
