Don't know if I'm doing something wrong but every time I try one of these on my Reo Grand I get about 3 or 4 decent draws before it gets so tight it feels like sucking mud through a stir straw. I've tried two different ones and they each do the same thing. I have tried everything from pure vg to straight pg and it's the same. Its not a huge deal cause quite frankly I like the overall flavor and performance of other attys much better, it's just that I have a few of these joyes lying around and thought it a shame to toss them out.

Any advice? Maybe de-bridge and de-wick?

Interesting. I've never had issues with tight draw on the Joye, but we get the bulk 1.5 from VaporKings. A difference, in yours, may be in the production time of your atty or even that it is a 2.0. The last Joye 1.5 I purchased, bulk, was many months ago. It's been nearly a year since I've purchased any 2.0s and none of those were very tight.

Drilling may be the answer especially if they start out new with too tight a draw. I'm not a fan of de-wicking or de-bridging but others seem to like the results. I find that, as long as I keep them well cleaned by boiling or alcohol sonic cleaning, and then pulsing dry-burn, the wicks and mesh bridge cover, stay pristine and the attys can be used for many, many months, in rotation. I like to have as much wick, and mesh, as possible, as that requires less squonking.
