Joye 510 cartridge question

I got my Joye 510 today and I love it! Soooooo much better than the cheap starter kit I had to try out vaping.

So when I unpacked everything the cartridges were packed in individual wrappers and they were moist inside. The fluid in them had a weird smell to it. On the website where I ordered, it didn't mention that they were pre-filled, but it also didn't say that they weren't so I assumed they were blank.

Do they moisten the new blank cartridges when they sell them? Is that like a pre-caution for newbies not to burn anything on first time use? Or were my cartridges pre-filled and just happened to have some nasty juice in them???

No, if the carts aren't pre-filled they should be dry. It's easy to rinse them out and start fresh if you want. Might want to do that anyway as I've never found any pfe-filled cart juice worth vaping, jmo.

Gently take the filler out of the cart with a pair of tweezers then hold it under warm running water, you'll see the liquid getting flushed away. After that place the filler on a paper towel and fold the towel around it being careful not to damage the filler. A few folds should dry it out completely. Then place it gently back in the cart with the tweezers and you have a new fresh, dry cart.

The carts that come with an ecig are usually prefilled with Chinese Tobacco or Menthol juice

You can try pulling the stuffing and rinsing it and patting it totally dry, then try to get it back in right. And meanwhile order precut blue foam stuffing for 510 carts from strictlyejuice.com - very cheap and the favorite stuffing replacement

And when you get tired of atty+cart, try standard resistance Boge cartomizers (slim 510 cannot use the hotter LR ones). I only use atomizers to test juices, and my fave thin juices get cartomizers.

Thanks guys. I rinsed them off and the stuff came right off. It wasn't menthol so maybe the Chinese tobacco. Much better now!
