Here's an update . . .

Still working like a champ, no leaks, no problems . . . BUT . . .

Last night, it started turning the liquid BLACK. Ink black. I blew it out a bit, re-primed, and vaped some more . . . fine for a bit, but it blacked up quickly.

So I've switched out for a new one, cleaned out the old one and I'm letting it soak for a bit.

Is this gonna need more frequent cleaning? Or did I do a dumb somehow?

That's the first I've heard of ANY atty doing this. Are you using black tanks? Is it possible the tank itself is melting or the dye is turning the liquid black? toss a teaspoon of baking soda in your atty, with a little vinegar, then put your thump on the large opening. This will force the foam out through the top, and it's a guaranteed way to clean up anything dirty in that atty. Rinse it out, let it dry off, and try again.

No, the tanks weren't melting. They're clear tanks.

After cleaning using the Crest Pro mouthwash method, and a long soak in warm water, it seems to be back to normal.

So yeah, these might need a bit more frequent cleaning than regular 510 attys.

I love my 510-T!

Yes, it does need frequent refilling, but as long as I do that, the flavor and TH remain consistent until about two or three hits before the blinky dead batt signal.

I did experience the darkening of e-liquid described by nash076, but I think that's because I kept taking hits after the tank had gone almost dry.

I went Googling and learned that vaping 510-T attys when they're dry can ruin them. I also learned that it is possible to resurrect attys by cleaning them under hot running water and then blowing them out from the batt end until the water is clear (I used a white paper towel so I could see).

The first time I got dark liquid, I didn't know any better, so I simply refilled the tank and got dark liquid again. Cleaning did not revive that atty -- it was probably too far gone.

But the second time it happened (darkened liquid), I realized what I had done, cleaned that atty before refilling it, and it worked again.

I note that the vendor warns that attys and batts are "considered throw away parts and do not last forever," so they do eventually, even with careful use, wear out and malfunction.

Honestly, I think this is a drawback of any of these "contained" systems: my CE2's do the same thing, and every so often one will turn the juice color. My guess is this is side effect of the carbon/burnt juice/whatever around the coil infusing with the juice in the tank. I've definitely noticed this in my 510-T, it tends to build up in the mouthpiece by the internal restricting plate. I think your most recent post explained that one pretty well, actually! :)

On the positive, I'm still using my 510-T gear frequently, and it's still working just as perfectly as the day I posted the review. Only thing I wanna see is some hi-capacity carts. I see *NO* reason why the manufacturers couldn't simply apply the same concept behind the longer Lucid's to the 510-T by merely changing the atty end to fit the 510-T. I've no issue with a longer PV, especially if means less tank-swapping.
