Joye Ego Charging?

Hey everyone. Just got my ego from liberty flights today! The battery has been on the charger for longer than 2 hours an the charger still has a red light? Confused as I thought it took around 2 hours to charge the battery, wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience of it taking this long to charge? Can't wait to test it out but I just want the battery to be fully charged before I try it out Thanks in advance.

2-3 hours red light will go out.

if your kit came with 2 batts then use the other one til it's dead.

these batts can take 2-3 hrs to charge. sometimes the charging light can be funky.

I have to connect batt to charger, then plug charger in. otherwise it doesn't seem to work right.

Generally nothing to worry about. The charges that come with the kits are not of the highest quality, and a lot of the batteries don't come with much of a charge, so it could take as much as 3 hours or more for the first charge.

Ok thanks alot guys. Red light is still on haha, been charging for atleast 3 hours now possibly more. At the moment just using my other battery I got and testing out the drip tip. Havent tried out any of the prefilled cartridges yet. Testing out my drip tip and used 3 drops. How many puffs does 3 drips usually last? Mmmm cappuccino 18 mg VG, not bad. Tastes much better than my crappy mint flavor from my Xhale o2.

3 drops = about 15 good drags for me. The prefilled cart's are gonna taste nasty anyway, just save them for when later.

Alright good to know thanks. OMG im loving this!!! The battery is still charging at the moment and im still using the spare battery. I already love it, cant imagine how it's going to be with the fully charged battery! mmmm cappuccino, good stuff!!

With my USB charger, it works in one of my USB ports but not the other for some odd reason. I say this is odd because I can use my pass through in either port without a problem. I guess the charger is picky and only likes the right side. LOL Try switching to a different USB port and see what happens.

I wonder if having an older PC without USB 2.0 means anything. Only reason I ask is because I am running custom built PC with tweaks. Needless to say the voltage to certain areas has been tweaked as well. Only take 1 Hour and 20 or 30 minutes for me...?

Are you charging with USB?
If so definitely try the wall charger.
My batteries charge in less than an hour every time.

True. My batts take much longer to charge thru the USB port. And it only works on certain USB ports. Try the wall charger. Btw, I do think you need USB 2.0 for it to work.

I agree. Get an A/C wall charger adapter. Make sure the adapter is rated at "2 Amp" rather than at "500mAmp" (which I think means .50 Amp). A 2 Amp adapter will work with a pass-through and it seems to charge my eGo and Riva batteries much faster than the .50 Amp adapter. I think I got my 2 Amp adapter from MadVapes.com.

I had the very same issue. I get the fastest charge from the wall charger.

My ecig just arrived in the mail. Been charging for an hour...I cant wait to "fire it up". I do not have the same brand. Do they all take about the same amount of time to charge?

The bigger the battery capacity the longer to charge usually.
