Atomizers last anywhere form 1 minute to months. Always have spares. And buy some Boge 2 and 3 ohm cartos and learn to use them so you will always have cartos as a backup way to vape (I use 20% or less VG in them). You can also use a carto for any flavor you want to keep out of your atomizer or for cinnamons which can damage plastic.

And never run an atomizer dry - if it's getting too hot then you are straining it and it's not getting enough liquid. Use suitable liquid for the method you are using. tanks like the thickness of PG w/ 20-30% VG. Thinner works but may be more prone to leaking. Some thinner 50/50's may work. the juice need to be thin enough to flow and keep the coil damp.

if you get burning tastes with tank atty sometimes the wick needs to be repositioned. Look for Youtube videos about that. I don't use tanks so I can't explain it - I just know it happens.

1 week off an atomizer before it needs to be cleaned or replaced isn't bad. I've never tried to clean an Ego Tank Atty but there is much info on it if you want to try and get some more useful life out of it. Below is one quick and easy method but there are more in depth methods with info out there.

When I was using the ego T type A atomizers/tanks, I would rotate two atomizers. Once a week, I would swap them out. The one I had been using would then get cleaned using hot water, then isopropyl alcohol, and I would set it aside to dry. The rubbing alcohol is supposed to dry for at least 2-3 days, which was fine with me since I was going to let it sit for a week anyway.

I just rotated two atomizer once a week and that worked fine. Sooner or later, I'd have had to replace those, of course.

I ended up switching to the EMDCC's, and I like them better. Those, I'm not reusing. I use one for a week or so, then put a brand new one on. I tried cleaning them out, but my results after cleaning weren't very good, and I wasted a lot of fluid that way, so now I just move to a new one. I still clean the old ones, and I throw them into a "For emergency use only" box.

I started my ego-t type B roughly 3 weeks ago and love it. Has definately taken a bit of a learning curve of getting used to compared to analogs. I rotate my attys daily, each night giving a simple hot water rinsing and blowing through the tank end until the hot water comes out clear...then I leave it set to dry overnight and through the next day. I am still on my first 2 attys.
Was having some trouble with one (burnt metalic taste) but as I was informed on here, it was likely due to dry hitting. I added liquid to the tank and pulled a few times lightly, no more metalic taste.

My original order was through Liberty-Flights, and they have been top notch in suggestions and assistance.

Went to order some additional attys, and ordered the wrong ones (ordered XL). Liberty flights was great in assisting in what I thought was a bad batch of attys but was really my error in order and has provided me with XL cartridges with my most recent order (which was another complete starter kit, not only for 2 more attys, but now I have a charger for the car as well as 2 extra batteries)

Hi,
Another important thing with tank systems is to take a brand. My first tanks came with a chinese EgoT, and it was just disgusting. Persistant metallic taste, the atty was not well fed.
When I bought my provari, I decided to test their egoT B atty (joyetech I think), and it's really another world. The taste is not as strong as with ce3 or cartos, but the hit is good and I now appreciate this system.
