I just got a Joye Stick V3 and it comes with ICR10440P batteries, 320mAh. I want to order some more but not from China. What can I use that are available in the US where the shipping isn't so much?

Also do I need to stay with the 320mAh or can I use the TrustFire 10440 AAA Rechargeable Battery 3.7V 600mAh?

You should be able to purchase the batteries from Janty USA (in the suppliers section). They used to be ICR10440, 360mAH, but they may have changed to 340mAH

I bought two protected 600mAh 10440 from Ebay, they did come from China though. They work great in the V3 and I've had no problems with them at all. I got two of them for $9.99 including shipping and they were here in less than two weeks. The protected ones will not fit in the charger that comes with the V3 but I already had a multi-charger that they worked in alright. If you want the link just let me know.

I guess you Janty folks should see if protected batteries are needed. Maybe the V3 has the circuit in the unit itself, which from a liability standpoint would make the most sense.

Using batteries with higher mAh shouldn't be a problem. But keep in mind that these batteries are often highly over-rated. You'll probably get similar battery life to the Janty batteries, which I have found to perform very well in the admittedly short time that I've been using them.

Also, it is my understanding that the Janty Stick does have built in protection, but using protected batteries shouldn't cause a problem, as long as they fit.
