Ok so ya know the 510 atty is almost the same as a 306 but not quite... The thread pattern is the same and you can swap battery's but the carts are different... The 510 carts are much like a 901 in the way they fit on to the atomizer as where the 306 carts are more like that of a M401 or RN4081 they slip over the atty... The 510 is an enclosed atty as to the 306 is an exposed atty... Just another way to explain so you get the image... I hope this helped and happy vaping...

Does it make a significant difference in performance if I use a joye306 atomizer with a 510 battery?

I Can Say Yes For Me. The 510's Atom Is Much Bigger, More Vape! :D

And Yes I Have Switched Them Several Times To Try Them, Its Fine To Use, Just Less Throat & Less Vape, But The 306 Does Put out! 8-o

Ya, I got a 306a but if the carts that's fine, I just need a manual switch battery

Here's my setup that I'm gonna have

306a atty
510 battery
306a carts

So from what I understand the carts are the only difference so I don't care. I'll just use my joye 306. Am I off? Are we over with this?

I don't have either, but you are off a bit...

The 510 carts are different AND the atty is enclosed type (i.e. different) the 306 is not.

You will get more vapor from the 510 and my guess is it will hold more juice inside the atty (primer juice) and the cart, but again I am only speaking from the replies I see here...

So if I'm happy with a 306a atomizer but don't like the two second shutoff switch that the 306a manual battery gives. Than the 510 manual switch replacement should fit my needs:confused:

Yes, I beleive others do this and are happy, but might as well grab a 510 atty and give it a try if you are going to buy the batteries. Sounds like the 510 atty would be even better...

Wow, never new there was a 2-second cut-off on the 306... That is crazy short...

You have no idea........it sucks...and the batteries last for 2 hours most on MODERATE use
They blow

Definitely would, but I don't have any carts at all. If this route fits my needs than I'll stay down this road, if not I'll return it because I am not satisfied with this product

2 Second Cut Out. Thats Not Right, Should Get 5 to 7 Seconds. I get That with 6 Batts. Try Another Batt If U Have One.

Sorry, but the 306a battery's come with a 2 second shutoff switch. Are we talkin about the same device?

No They Do Not Come With A 2 Second Cut Off!!!!

I Have (8) 306 Batteries & (6) 306 Atoms (from (3) Vendors and have Had Them For Months & Also Just Picked Up Some More Batts. My Cut Off Averages 5 to 7 Secs!

Please Note There are Variances In All The Auto Batts & Atoms (all) , Each One Is A Little Different. Also If U get Juice In The Switch That Will Effect It.

Further Try Another Atom and Be Sure Its Wet. A Dry Atom, Clogged Atom, defective Atom Will Cause The Fast 2 sec Cut Out. When the Resistance Increases The Auto Batt Will Cut Off Power! Thats A Fact.

Also Note That Battery Charge Life (Use) is Short With The 306 Batt.

Try & See If Another Atom Helps, If It Does Not Its Your Batts. ;)

Thanks, the battery's that came were defective, I just confirmed it. I noticed they go for longer when they are on a full charge and when they get lower they shutoff every 2 seconds. My new battery's are on the way

Thanks for your help, I'm gonna go clean my spare atomizer is cola for a couple hours to try to unclog it if that's the case as well. You've been a great help

I just cleaned out an atomizer with cola. Still a two second shutoff switch. There was no carbonation in it. That may be the problem. I'm trying to up the airflow so this doesn't happen. Gonna go get some carbonated faygo cola. I'll post the results in an edit. Even without carbonation I thought the acidics would work.

Sorry guys, I'm just trying to get to understand my new e-cigg a little bit more. This is a tad bit frustrating since this shouldn't be happening.

Yeah, no need to bath your atomizer in cola... That has nothing to do with the cut-off.

There is another thread going where it seems those that avoid cola baths, etc are seeing longer life than those that are bathing, boiling, rinsing, etc...

Some doing nothing state months of life, some boiling, rinsing, bathing, etc. are seeing two weeks. The cut-off is in your battery not the atty... and isn't your atty almost new?

I have 2 of the 306 batteries and don't have a problem with the 2 second cutoff so it's got to be a defective product, as you've found out.

I also have a few 510 manual batteries and they do work with the 306 atomizer. I don't use them for a couple of reasons, one being I don't need an 11 sec. hit (I can double pump on the 306 if need be) and second because the carts on the 306 are so small I figure they will dry up even faster.

The 510 rocks but I've come to prefer the 306 because of the smaller size, feels more natural in my hands and the 510 carts just seem too big for my lips. I know that sounds strange. I've started using 910 carts in the 510 instead, when I do use it.
