You mean American money is worth more then Canadian again. Last time I was up there it was the other way around but that was a long time ago. Everything up there cost more at that time too. $12 for a 12 pack of beer does that give you a hint of how long its been and it's only about 80 miles.
we're barely getting 70 cents on the dollar right now :( and a 12 pack of beer is anywhere from 20-30$ now! thank god Washington is so close ;) miller high life, 7.99 a 12 pack! alchohol is so heavily taxed here! well atleast it is in this province it is... Quebec is a whole other story though, American prices!

They are also highly unlikely to explode if they Briefly exceed the rated tolerance of the batteries for a short time in short bursts. Anyone exercising common sense, and responsibility recognizing the limitations of the device and batteries installed and using the device as it is intended are probably not going to have a problem.

Joyetech sold this as a 150w device and removed some of the limiting software to allow greater performance with Sony VT5s but anyone using a 150w device with 10a batteries at 200w constantly because they have to prove they have a bigger private part than anyone else around deserves to have it blow up and take them out of the gene pool!

Just my unsolicited 2 cents!
Yes, I don't believe there's much danger to the batteries in this case, and certainly not if using something like Sony vtc4. It was more about me pondering about what amp limits of devices actually means, and asking (well, not very clearly) if my thinking is correct here. Is it? I had never really considered that the internals of a device (naturally) are speced for a certain limit. I had always assumed (as many others I believe) that the device amp limit determined the maximum that will be drawn from the batteries. However, the earlier example (sorry, I can't remember the name of the poster) got me thinking because the limiting could not be about the device maximum voltage being reached, and the battery draw was nowhere near 25 amps. Just trying to learn as much as I can.

On Canadian beer? Thats a good deal but kind of a long drive. Easier to drive to Sumas and smuggle it accoss. How much can you bring back without paying duty.

Though come to think of it, I must be wrong. On the dna 200 this would mean that 200w can only be reached with coils ranging from .32 ohms (current limit at the atty) and .4 ohms (voltage limit). How then did the poster's Cuboid not reach more than 100w with a .15 coil? The voltage was nowhere the 9v limit (3.87v) and the battery drain with depleted batteries would've been around 17 amps. Any ideas?

That guy with Joyetech's Marketing Division that runs the community boards over at Joyetech might be able to get you the Technical Information you are seeking or at least get you in touch with someone who can. His username is Kermit on that community board. I'll PM you his Email address. I can't figure out how Joyetech can even extract 200w from dual 18650s and from what I understand they can only mathmatically do it within limited parameters while the batteries are above 4.05v. It is all beyond me.

Glad to see it came through! Vaporizers Distributor came through & was legit. Was the best price out there but Vapenw is a pretty good deal too with much faster shipping.

Question for those that got the stainless mod. Does it match stainless tanks and toppers, or does it have more of a yellow hue to it? Sometimes hard to tell from pictures. Thanks

HD

It has a lacquer like and brushed finish to it that gives it a slight hue. Still looks fine (to me) with stainless toppers.

Top is pure stainless color. The sides are slightly yellowish. But as they say, close enough for government work... [emoji12] got mine 3 days ago from Vape NW... 3 days in transit, super fast shipping!

Still waiting for mine to ship from fasttech lol hoping they arrive before coming Xmas.
The "fast" is a misnomer... Been waiting for some odd bits for 3½ weeks now with upgraded shipping! Had ordered the Cuboid on 12/28/15, but cancelled
Once I saw the link to Vape NW here. [emoji106] got here before the refund cleared!
