Anyone been using both the vtc mini and the cuboid and can comment on the pros and cons of each?

The Cuboid is the VTC Mini on steroids, higher output, longer battery life, and it's much heavier. They function similarly, but the Cuboid has no bypass mode. Build quality on the Cuboid is excellent it feels very solid, the slim profile makes it easy to handle and you soon get used to the weight.

VTC Mini + 1 Samsung 25R battery + Uwell Crown tank = 239 grams

Cuboid + 2 Samsung 25R batteries + Uwell Crown tank = 375 grams

IMHO: outside of power, weight and battery life they are very similar devices.

The VTC mini replaced the TC40 in my use rotation. Small & light. Easy to hold and shirt pocket. I have a RED one and a Gold one. Still rather amazed they packed THAT much functionality into a package that small. I like the paint jobs.

The Cuboid on the other hand weighs in more than an Apollo Reliant and feels similar to an SXminiM in heft and size. (I have a Black Cuboid) The three TCR memories and extra battery edge out the Reliant and SXminiM in my device rotation. I rarely use Ni/Ti anymore so the Cuboid easily replaces a IPV4S. For dual 18650 and weight - the Boxer dual 18650 mod has the Cuboid beat however at a +5x cost over the Cuboid.

A full size TFV4 seems a little big on the VTC mini but seems to look better and have better balance on the Cuboid.

Given I could grab anyone while heading out to work, its a toss up as to which one has a full tank and charge rather than likes/dislikes or better/worse function.

After 5 months getting along on a Kangxin mini with TC I suddenly have an evic vtc mini and a cuboid. Yesterday and today I tested battery endurance of the cuboid, my primary interest in that mod. It lasted a full day and a small part of the next day. I was using 2 used 2400 mah batteries. One of them less than 1/10th of a volt weaker than the other but well within the 0.3 volt spec recommended by Joytech. A set of 3000 mah LG batteries are in the mail. The puff timer showed about 1200 seconds or 20 minutes of firing time when it finally quit. The Cuboid seems to be monitoring the batteries individually both firing and recharging. That's reassuring.

I'm glad I got unpainted stainless. This thing is not stealthy, might as well flaunt it. And the nicks and scratches will just add character.

Nutz, Looks like my Elev8 order of 1 Cuboid is still in BROOKLYN, NY according to my shipping notice email, prolly due to that big snow storm. Guess I have to wait till they get all the roads plowed so that they can get to the airport and get it shipped. :(
You're not the only one suffering from Vapemail Disappointment around here because of the storm.. :(
I'm not one of them - my Cuboid arrived today - but you do have my sympathies.

I got notice that mine was "out for delivery" on Thursday but it never came. Friday it said "statice unchanged" and still did not arrive. After I called and inquired where my package was it miraculously showed up on Saturday. At first I was ...... because the screen was all marked up. Then I thought I remembered someone posting there was a protective cover on it and there was. Clean and shiny underneath. So far I'm loving this thing and I can't believe it fits into the littl change/lighter pocket in my jeans!

Sometimes the mail man will mark it as delivered to avoid trouble with management but not deliver until the next day or the day after to spare himself some walking time. Before tracking this happened and you never knew.

I have them both. I got the mini because it seems to be the most well regarded single cell mod available. It doesn't disappoint though I've yet to test battery endurance. I got the mini from fastech because I could also order both a faux leather case and a sillicone sleeve. I prefer the faux leather, it has enouogh grip and comes in and out of my pocket easier. These days most of my waking hours are at work (where we are allowed to vape on the shop floor). I expect the mini to be the mainstay for work because it's discrete. The cuboid is a whole other animal because of the form factor, big and ballsy. I won't use it as much but I'm glad I own it even though I never go above 30 max watts in any fiiring mode. I wanted a dual cell mod for endurance, so I've got one, but it's a bit heavy for the all day outdoor field trips I thought I was getting it for. The cuboid performs the same as the mini. (May be it hits a tiny bit harder but that could be my imagination.) To me it's more of a social/political statement than a minimalist practical mod. I think the only color to get is stainless and if you don''t want a big flashy mod get a second mini instead or wait for the next latest and greatest.

Over the last couple of days, I found it a bit twitchy with resistance measurement. At times the measured resistance will jump or it will report an atomizer short (but no shorts on visual inspection). After I put the tank back on, it works as normal. First I need to "train" it on lower temps and then by gradually increasing the temp after a few seconds of vaping at each step, it finally gives me the right vape. This is with 316L coils in 316 mode.

I've had the cuboid since Thursday, and so far liking it, but I do not recommend getting the black, after 1 day of work having it clipped on my belt, the black already worn off the corner of the mod, and that is just from rubbing against my jeans, had a other mods clipped on and none had the paint wear off like that, but as I got as a work mod, not to bothered.

Just got mine yesterday and while the resistance reading has been pretty stable, I did get one "No Atomizer" while using my Aromamizer that had been on it for quite a while. Had to take it off and then back on and it worked fine. Gonna check the 510 pin..

I won a Cuboid and Cubis from Heaven Gifts and I absolutely love both of them. So much that I ended up purchasing a second Cuboid and a second Cubis. For the past few weeks, both Cuboids have been my primary devices and now I hardly use any of my other mods, except for my Reuleaux's (I have both the DNA200 and the RX200). I use to love the evic VTC Mini and after getting the Cuboid, I almost never use it. If anyone was in the market for a VTC Mini, I would highly suggest considering the Cuboid. The larger size isn't that noticeable and you get more than double the wattage (200 watts versus 75 watts) for around $5 more.

This is precisely the reason I haven't purchased a Cuboid yet. The price point is just so close between the RX and Mini. I'm not complaining. The RX is an incredible value. I just feel like it's more worth it to purchase an RX. I am hoping a ridiculous deal comes out for the Cuboid in the future. Also for more minis.

I know it comes down to the form factor. The RX is bulky compared to the Cuboid. Still with the the prices so similar, I just feel the RX is more bang for your buck.

Ehh they are pretty much the same thing. I'm trying to decide between either.

And the only real thing the RX has on the cuboid is 3 batteries. Which would entail me to buy 6 batteries to marry, and a 6 bay charger.

While the Cuboid will work with my current dual married battery set, and the screen is MUCH nicer.

That and I never get close to 100w, much less 150 or 200
