Does the battery maintain the same power throughout the battery life before it dies or does the power decrease as you use it?

I found that it holds pretty well toward the end @4.5V to where only the last 10 or so puffs is where it really drops off. And in practice that seems to be the way it acts as well - you can tell you'll need to recharge only at the very end.
At lower voltages the curve would be a bit less as you lower the voltage.....
