So if I buy the battery by itself, what would be the better topper? The one tank or the kanger nano? What's the battery life like? I'll probably get the 1100mAh battery. There is two sizes for the one tank right? I want it small small small.

I really like the heads in the Ego One, they are cotton , they last a really long time and the flavor is better than the Kanger in my opinion. Also with the 1ohm head they are perfect from mouth to lung inhales. I got the small battery and the bigger tank and it is still TINY! I sold both my egrips with the RBA's as this is a better vape and zero leaking also the heads themselves are really easy to rebuild with Japanese cotton. They hit it out the park with the Ego one, I am surprised it is not getting more coverage.Battery life is decent and easy to use as passthrough while you charge.

Oh man.. and I just got another eGrip a week ago since my other one acts up sometimes. It hasn't acted up since I got the new eGrip... guess it knows it's gonna be placed on the backburner if it does! Ha... but anyhow... I really want to get the One now. I'll get the One tank for now. I typically like mouth to lung hits as well and prefer a tighter draw as opposed to a completely open lung hit. Does that mean I should just get the 1.0 ohm coil? I want to try the 0.5 ohm coil as well but is it suitable for mouth to lung hits? Seems like a few sites with the 5 pack coils are sold out of the 1.0 ohm coils and still have the 0.5 coils in stock. That would seem like more people are buying the 1.0 ohm coils over the 0.5? Any major difference between the way the two coils hit other than the obvious warmer/more vapor from the 0.5?

I started with the preinstalled 1 ohm, but quickly moved to 0.5. Still on my original coil, but will be picking up 0.5s in the future. I thought the 0.5 would be too much, but you can play with the air flow and easily do mouth to lung inhales. Sure, the vape is little warmer, but after a while I'm not even noticing any difference.

I have both heads and I prefer the 1ohm for mouth to lung as you have more play in the airflow, with the 0.5 head I have to have the airfow nearly all the way closed to be able to mouth to lung and then the throat hit is too much. The flavor on a mouth to lung is better on the 1ohm IMO but if you want to do lung hits then the 1ohm is a bit too restrictive even wide open. With the 1ohm I have put it on a mech with an 18350 and it is still a really good vape.

Ok I just ordered mine from EV Cigarettes, didn't get the kit since I don't need another charger, but I picked up the 1100 mah battery, the 1.8ml One tank, and a pack of 1 ohm coils. About $58 shipped with a 5% discount code, not a bad deal!

Is the tank portion of the atomizer just a stainless steel tank with a window? As in, the air flow control is on the atomizer base not a part of the tank right? I was thinking it'd be pretty sweet if they made some different styled tanks, maybe something with a little window in the middle like how the Kayfun looks or the bell caps, or even the SS tanks with hollowed out designs like the ones they have for the Nautilus.

I just received mine from MVS(My Vapor Store) with the 2200 kit for $60 shipped. I got to say it is a small little mod but it does have great vapor and flavor. I've used both the Atlantis and the full size SubTank and the flavor is just as good or a little better then both ( I liked the flavor a little more on the sub tank then the Atlantis) I've just tried the .5 coil but so far so good. Only time will tell but if your on the fence go for it. It also works great with the Atlantis though it's a tad bit larger but it's another mech mod I can always use.

Just got mine from a local shop today. Been vaping on it for a few hours now and loving it.

This is a tiny, durable (seemingly durable) punchy unit. Huge clouds and great taste. I've been looking around for quite a while to find something that I can pack around with me on the mountain while I'm boarding that I won't worry about breaking when I whipe out. It'll fit perfectly in a little ego case with a couple bottles of juice, just pull it out on the chair lift and vape away. So nice not having to mess around with a lighter on a windy chair lift like I used to with stinkies.

I've purchased 2 of the 2200mah kits in the last couple weeks, neither were for me, but for newbs.
Did however grab the large tank and a couple of 25r batteries to use with one of my mechs.

Get almost a full day of heavy vaping off one battery and the lack of vv/vw isn't an issue with the 0.5 ohm head as it's best between 20 and 30 watts anyways.

A freshly charged 25r comes off the charger at 4.2 volts which pushes about 32 watts using the 0.5 ohm coil, a bit hot to start but gets better as the battery discharges.

Still have the new Atlantis sitting in the box it came in, I'll keep it for back-up in case this tank breaks.

Anyone want some evods, clearos, cartomizers, rebuildables, batteries...?lol.

EDIT...Ya gotta try lung inhales with the 0.5 ohm and a wide bore drip tip...
OHHHHYAAAAAA!

A quick tip for a quick refresh of 0.5 ohm coil.

Peel some of the fuzz off of the ends of a couple q-tips, just enough so they'll fit in the coil.
Gently insert and twist in and out. I do this 3 or 4 times until the swab comes out clean.

Doing this daily for the last week and it's working as good as new still.

You do need to be gentle however and you will need to pick off a little cotton fuzz when done, but it's working great for me so far.

What all do you do?

Cheers.

Good tip! Will have to try it out. I don't remember if I read it here or somewhere else.... Anyone tried rebuilding or at least rewicking the coil?

I've been looking for tutorials on u tub for a while, probaly the same as the atlantis but the much smaller size of the ego one may make it a no go. (for me at least) Cheers.

There is info on rewicking earlier in this thread by uncle chuck, I have done it and it is quite easy.

@Atlantisboy

How do the Ego One 1Ohm heads compare to the regular Aspire BVC in terms of longevity?
I run the BVCs in the eGrip and I'm impressed how well they keep up with 40+ ml of juice. You have used them too right?

I can't really speak to that as I have probably only put about 10-15mls through it so far, but they are pretty easy to rewick. They also have better flavor than the BVC as these use cotton.
