Long story short, both egrips I have leak horribly and I haven't used them in months due to the fact.

I have both the original and the 30w oled cl version.

Using the rda, stock cl coils, or even the clr coils, these egrips leak slowly until they are empty.

All of the leaking is coming out of the bottom plate.

I've tried everything possible as far as changing orings and the fill hole seals, ect. What gets me, is I think it's a manufactur flaw. If I put my finger over the airflow and blow into the tank, you can hear air escaping...

I don't have torq bits in the right size to fully take apart the egrips, but does anyone have any advice besides a warranty claim? It's already to late for that and I don't even have the scratch codes anymore

I don't know what's happening with your eGrips defdock, but I needed to tighten the bottom screw that retains the rda using the coin sized slot.

Since then, it only leaks after refilling until I produce some vapor for 10 - 20 seconds. After that it's pocket friendly.

I've owned 2 original eGrips. Lost one to the dreaded USB connector problem.Never any real leaks with the original coils, GS Air coils or Aspire BVC coils. No problem with the rba either once I learned to wick it properly. I just left one sit with an RBA, 3/4 full tank for nearly a month in the same spot. Moved it today and found one good size drop of juice under it. I would say something is defective?

As far as being defective, I find it odd that both have the exact same issues but they are from different models of different years... chance of me getting 2 completely unsealed tanks is very slim...

I'm bout to bin these after I attempt to find the source and/if it can be fixed.

I've ben using the cl base with a clr coil, I drilled a hole into the cl base for better airflow, for reference.

I took tissue and plugged the airhole and the hole in the base, filled the tank and blew into the mouthpeices of both egrips. - both exhibit the EXACT same issue. No liquid on either tissue, but the whole tank emptied and leaked out of every side of the bottom plate and the charging port.

Getting really annoyed with joyetech, as this is the 5th product to fail in less than a month of use. No abuse to the mods, they even look brand new. Never dropped or even scratched.
