The eRoll should remain bone dry and it sounds like there may be having a wicking problem as well. Neither are at all normal for the eRoll although some people reported some condensation with the very early models that don't have the two rectangular indentations on the inside of the eRoll's PCC case. What is the source of the condensation?

You might want to try a new atty and juice tank to see if that makes a difference. Also, stick with Joye brand attys. Some people have reported issues with off-brands.

I get a small amount of condensation in my eRoll tanks but it has never made my juice taste bad and I'm not sure that condensation would cause a foul taste. Nasty tasting juice almost always comes from a too dry atty. Are you vaping a really thick juice with a high VG content?

Once your post count is up to five you can ask the moderators to move this thread to the eRoll forum if someone doesn't come up with an explanation and solution for you. You will get a lot more eRoll experienced eyes on your issue in that forum.

You can reply here to get your post count up or welcome new people to ECF in their threads.

I've tried different kinds of juices. Honestly, I'm not so experienced with PG/VG and all this. Have tried juice from different brands/shops, with pretty much the same result. It's not the juice/vapor itself that is foul tasting. It's the small drops of juice/condensation within the outer part of the tank that mixes with the vapor and creates the taste.

The outer part of the tank looks like your bathroom mirror after a shower, with small, and some big, drops of nicotine/e-juice in it, which mixes with the vapor and creates nicotine taste in your mouth. Anyone who is familiar with Scandinavian snus knows exactly what I mean.

peraspera: Do you have any pictures on how the ppc should look if it's the good version? I bought my eroll from a shop in CZ, and suspect it's from an old batch.

ok I just tried BLOWING through the mouthpiece into a piece of paper towel and it seemed to get some of the condensation out which helped a bit. I am seriously considering trying canned air to really dry it out. This is really a make do solution though. I think I am just going to swap over to some sort of carto tank or clearomizer. Less hassle and larger juice capacity.

The only condensation I see is a slight amount on the inside of my tank. The outside of my batteries and tanks remain dry as bones. I have had two eRolls (from different vendors) since December and have gotten tanks and attys from three different places.

Some people reported external battery condensation issues with early eRolls. Those are the ones that don't have the two rectangular indentations in the lid. If your eRoll lid does not have those indentations I think you should contact your vendor to see about exchanging the one you have for the one with the new lid that helps prevent condensation on the outside of the eRoll battery.

If your lid does have the indentations post again and ask the moderators to move the thread to the eRoll forum.

Condensation in the cartridges is normal for the eRoll. For me, it does not affect the flavor of the vapor at all. However, rinse out the tank between fills, taking off the top and the mouthpiece bottom first. Blow through the cartridge to dry from both sides, it's what I do to get rid of the condensation. You really don't need to leave the tank to dry, just shake out and blow out the water and refill. There is a 'second' piece under the mouthpiece part that can fall out and is easy to lose if you aren't careful, though.

Oops, missed this...still, there's a pic in the eRoll thread that helped me quite a bit...I'll be trying that this week sometime..
