Hey Fellow Canadians!

Happy New Years and Merry Christmas to all! :)

So, Sunday evening my new joyetech eRoll arrived at my door step, decided to go with the eRoll along with my eGo-c Twist ecig, primarily for the fact I could have a portable easy to carry ecig around with me and just pop it in the case to carry around with me.

I just wanted to say that I love the eRoll, definitely very portable and very convenient for me as I am always on the go all the time. The only thing I dislike in regards to this ecig is the actual cartridge itself. When trying to put eliquid inside of it is very difficult especially since the opening is very small to begin with, definitely a fine needle plastic syringe would definitely overcome that issue. Also it seems that sometimes whenever I use it and I look at the ecig, parts of it especially the atomizer cover and the cartridge look a little damp as if its leaking. Would anyone have an idea of why that may be, am I pulling too hard or what?

Edit: Another thing I noticed that can get annoying is that because the cartridge is so dark, it is very hard to tell if the actual cartridge is full/empty or if your about to overfill it.

Also I am very, very impressed by the amount of vapor this little thing can produce, and of course just having the ability to just suck in without pressing a button is definitely nice as well.

I don't mind the amount of head the atomizer generates being such a small little thing, nonetheless I am loving it. I am definitely looking into more of the small discrete "Carry around with you easier" devices out there.

Suggestions and comments are welcome :)

Once again Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to everyone!

That's condensation, and it's a normal part of those types of tank systems; because of the way those tank systems are designed, there are a lot of surfaces on which the vapor can condense, so after some use you'll get a sheen of juice on the surfaces the vapor passes over, as well as some small droplets where the vapor has condensed enough to start pooling. It's just something you have to deal with when it comes to those cartridge-based tank systems.

Greetings Togglez and welcome to the forum!

When it comes to the eroll i would have to share in your enthusiasm as i am honestly impressed with mine that i had received on Monday. That being said as a small tip i had noticed at the bottom of the tank that cap is easily removed where you do not need to use a syringe but can fill straight from the bottle.

If you are looking for something similar in size then there is the ecab, though with the ecab from what i have been reading for a long time and making my own comparison, it would seem close to a 'prototype" style to the eroll.

Do you want something that takes a cartomizer? If some then i would highly recommend the redds key e-cig from happy vaper (i have two of them myself here).

If you want to get into ego's and wish to maintain the small form factor then the stealth ego batteries and a stardust are your winners of choice (though in my opinion are weak in comparison to the eroll or redds key cig)

eroll love my main device right now, and maybe forever....... Yes the cap is easily removable, also the wick is easily replaceable, and I do so now with steel mesh... only downfall of it is small tank and muted flavor.

You can rebuilt the wick in there? woof! i thought the space in a genesis was tight quarters to work o_0 wonder how it would be done on the ego c? Also with the taste i am the opposite i find the flavor is better...but after using cartomizers, dripping, and ce's i find anything a welcome change :D

But this is a classic example of why device just like taste is highly subjective

Thanks for the Welcome :).
Thanks for that quick tip about the bottom of the tank there is a cap that is easily removable making it easier to fill up. And it's also good to know that it is just the condensation definitely good to know, thought it was just leaking some fluid.

I am definitely looking into more portable items for when I'm out on the go and use my eVic and eGo while at home of course, as for something that takes a cartomizer? I am assuming that is similar to how the eRoll is with its cartridge? I will definitely take a look into the Redds Key e-cig and the stealth ego batteries and startdusts.

As for the taste, i think the eRoll definitely gives a nice punch of flavour sometimes i feel its much more than my ego-c twist. Also seeing how the eRoll came with two batteries I was actually thinking of just purchasing another eRoll PCC and some more cartridges a well so that I always have a backup with me.

But I am indeed loving the experience I have been having vaping. The flavor i have of Malboro really does taste like Malboro, very impressed!

If you mean a cartomizer's for your ego's and evic, then i would suggest kangers. If you are going to go with the redd's then i must say get the redds cartomizer's as well.

I am not sure if you knew, but if you are looking for a second pcc for the eRoll then you can check out vapor geek and they have the 5% discount on your first order (only) with OFF5VG.

But when it comes to the Redd key cig or the stealth batteries and stardust please note this is what tastes and works great for me in the way of small batteries, i am more then sure your results will be way different ;)

when I am wrong I will (in my mind) admit it, and this is one of those times, while at the same time go out on a limb. Something I have noticed with the eRoll which holds true for the redds mini (and other 808's) is when you put a fruit or drink flavor juice in there yes indeed you do get a largely muted taste, and even throat hitwhike vapor production is more the stellar.

this being said, seeing as I have RYA, export a, and dunhill tobaco flavors from flavor crafters I thought of trhing the eRoll (and redds mini). the difference was night and day as there was excellent flavor and throat hit while maintaining great vapor.

I figure there will be more then enough people saying this cannot be, but it is a difference I have noticed. pretty much like how I could use the same flavour in my vivi nova or squid tank or 510 styke atomizermer and start to feel sick when it is on the larger batteries. it is always unique to see how some peoples pallette's work

Nice Constantine,

I have another cartridge ready for my eRoll filled up with Fruit Punch and Dr Pepper, will definitely see how those pan out, definitely skeptical of it of course since i have never thought of smoking a fruity liquid. But i will definitely give it a shot and see how it goes.

I do have RYA, Du Maurier, and Marlboro flavours, definitely interested in where you were able to find the Dunhill flavour, if you could PM it to me that would be appreciated.

I do wish the cartridges were a little larger for the eRoll to hold more eliquid, how long does it take for your cartridge to empty out?

Also someone did mention something in regards to the smaller batteries that they do indeed pack a nice punch of flavour and vapor, is that true? With my ego-c twist starter kit i went with the 1000mAh battery instead of the 650mAh just wondering if it would indeed make any difference what so ever.

I got the dunhill from Flavor Crafters (the link should bring you right there, if you have never been there you need to log in first to see it)

Seeing as i can be a heavy vapor at about 7.5ml's a day (according to the fact that i refill a stardust three times a day), the little tanks for me last about twenty minutes in a flat out chain vaping session. If i take slower more controlled draws then i get about thirty five minutes total time.

Now bare in mind i am going to speak from experience with my pallet (yours i am sure will be different): i have tried the whole mod gig and used cartomizers and atomizers of low resistance and high resistance all the way up to 5.5 volts with a plethora of juice flavors but nothing seemed to give me the kick in my keester as the eRoll or the redds mini.

But then again some may say that after being a vaper for a year and using the eRoll or redds mini's i am Down grading, or De-evolving, what have you, but i can tell you when you are in a rooming house with twelve heavy smokers (each @ two packs a day) with that much cigarette smoke creating a constant 24/7 craving to nip at your heels i can tell you a ego or even a mod can get you so far before you break away and go get the cigarettes. That is why i have to say i am so impressed with the way the eRoll operates yet trying to figure out what the tobacco flavors work better though i do believe that the smaller form allows one to fill that sub conscious psychological need to have a cigarette and as such our brains full us (again on a subconscious level) hence we get a stronger throat hit and flavor from it

Thanks for the link there Constantine. Yeah definitely been having some cravings lately for a cigarette, but have been holding back and have been just using my ecig to overcome it. So it has been working surprisingly well for me.

Also i did notice that with the eRoll the flavoured fruity jucies did not pack a big punch so much as the tobacco flavoured eliquid. I was expecting it to be much stronger.

Also the day my eRoll arrived i decided to take the shot with the eVic and my lord was i impressed by it, just the type of technology that has evolved with these electronic cigarettes from the first time i started looking into them. I do indeed love the statistics that you can review and see how often you are really using the ecigarette.

Definitely loving the Joyetech products but does anyone know of any great reliable manufactures of ecigarettes that I can take a look at for some sleek designs?

I am sorry you have the cravings :( hopefully they did not last long on you. They do not pop up that often, and once you reach your first two or three months they are pretty much far and few between. I know it is not very encouraging but the best advice i can give, well that and if the eRoll or eVic is not seeming to help, try chewing some gum or hard candy.

You are more then welcome for the links, and it is unique as me and my wife were talking about the eroll and the technology that is out there for the new person to e-cigarettes and i even cracked a joke that i was brought into the fold a year too early :p

As for other e-cigarettes do you mean as in mods? I know that Pbusardo of youtube and PBusardo of taste your juice has gone through a ton of different manufactures, giving you as much info on just about every device out there.

ohhh ok....have to excuse me i have Old White Man Syndrome (which turns into Grumpy Old White Man Syndrome on bad days)

Lets see:

Vision: They make a variable volt ego, and also the makers of the stardust
Redds: Which seems to be manufactured in the USA, but Canada has been the beta grounds till their full release date
KGO: some swear by them (myself i do not)
V3: This is a line of batteries/gear from vaporus
Innokin
Smok aka Smoktech
Electro Vapers has their own line as well
Provape
Bloog Maxx Fushion

Sorry i started to put down manufacturers that were of good quality batteries like the ego and then started putting them all down. Maybe if we can flag down a op or others then they can add a few others :D

Nit picking here, but:

Technically they're a brand. They don't actually make anything.

Redds: Which seems to be manufactured in the USA, but Canada has been the beta grounds till their full release date

Mainly because at least one of the main dudes at Redds lives in Canada. (Not far from me, in fact.)

Electro Vapers has their own line as well

Much of EV's line is made by Mad Maxx. But it's good stuff just the same.

V3: This is a line of batteries/gear from vaporus
Bloog Maxx Fushion

These two, plus V4L, Smokeless Image Volt, and likely a number of others, are all made by Eigate.

 Damn you google for not telling me

google REALLY needs to update their information no?..then again it is good to finally have the insider information :D

These two, plus V4L, Smokeless Image Volt, and likely a number of others, are all made by Eigate.

Maxx Fushion is made under the bloog company name, according to the emails we had shared when i contacted them for information on other matters, thus they created the Aurora signature line (which is out for a limited time, how limited we do not know, but i am glad i got two of them :D ).

Not long ago when i had also contacted Smokeless image they had told me their line of e-cigarettes where the volts,

Smoov on the other hand is produced by a gentleman named Andre who now owns the brick and mortal store by the name of house of vapor(i think that is the name, i do know for certain he does own a B&M now) in lower state New York.

Some time ago when i contacted song with the question of his V3 line, he had gotten back to me saying that was in fact his own line, but that was the information he had supplied at that time

I am happy to hear the positive reviews on the eRoll, just ordered mine.
I have only been vaping a few weeks and started with (currently using) ego-c's with clearos.
I got the eroll because of the size and portability, my set up is great for home, but it is a bit big and not pocket friendly for on the go.
I am excited to have a small unit and one that doesn't look like paraphernalia when I am on the go.
