I guess since it's not usable there's nothing to lose by opening it up. But if the wire is loose, then what do I do? (LOL)
The USB may be directly soldered to the main board, check the solder points, manner sure none are cracked or loose....also look at the wires going to the battery

Most likely the charging cable..

Another one of my old cables failed last night.. Thats two now that won't charge anything.. The one sometimes would charge the cell phone.. But not the mod..

I highly doubt anything is wrong with the mod, the USB is near permanently soldered.. It's not done cheaply I'll tell you that.

Definitely not the charging cable. I've tried a half dozen different cables, plugs, locations I wish that was the case, but it appears not!

The CLR coils are indeed quite nice (haven't even tried the regular prebuilt coils) but I still haven't got them perfect. I've removed the juice control ring, and took off the coil cap as well, but I still can't push the tank as much as I'd like. I have it on 480f on my vaporflask clone (has a more accurate temperature reading) but I get temp limiting at about 20-25w.

How are you coiling and wicking yours?

Have not yet done any Ni build on the CLR heads.
Oh my, I just now realized I forgot what GA and how many wraps/dia on those 2 identical .8 ohm builds I have. Have been alternating them, dryburning/rewicking for the past month or more....... Those coils are being used in the Ego ONE XL tank on a 1100mah battery for stealth purposes and portability at work only. Or when I am out and about to stores etc.

Well, sad morning..took one puff, and my evic died. There is no hard reset for it, right? Any ideas what to do? Nothing happens with all the clicking or if i charge it. Never thought my istick would outlast the evic :D

Mine died too or should I say it shorted out and was stuck. Only recourse was to return it for a new one.

Resistance doesn't matter with regulated mods. Amp draw is determined by the set wattage and battery charge level (lower charge = higher amp drain), modified by the efficiency of the chip.

I disagree.

Resistance, voltage, and current are real. Power is calculated.

Battery charge isn't a good factor either as the mod either bucks or boosts the current battery level. The math gets difficult for rough estimates when you use one part of Pout and one part of Pin.

Efficiency is the ability for the mod to put out exactly what is put in.

It can be calculated by:
Efficiency=Pout/Pin

1 is ideal. Most mods that I have looked at are around 94%+ (or 0.94+).

Not starting an electricity war but your statement is too general and leaves the reader to guess what you mean. Be technical and teach people something. If you generalize and sugar coat the theory you are doing them a disservice.
