Keep in mind that how a tank performs is directly related to your ejuice as well. I'm surprised it's not mentioned more to tell the truth. The slightest variation in your ejuice can make a tank seem horrible. I have juices that make the subtank mini seem like the best tank since bread was sliced and put in the toaster for the first time. Then I have juices that taste like dead monkey *** in the mini. It's all in the engineering of the tank. When it comes to how a tank performs, I think it's a lot like reviewing ejuice....subjective.
Don't get me wrong, some tanks are just horrible period. But in most cases it's just a matter of matching a juice to a tank. I think a lot of tanks get a bad rap because of this. There's a reason some people think one tank is awesome and some people think it's horrible. Too many variables in what we are doing in vaping. Then the final process in deciding how good a tank is....taste...and that's not subjective at all.
I actually have yet to find any juice that isn't amazing in my subtanks. I just love them, I'm like a broken record around here lol. But yeah I have a hard time looking into other tanks because I'm worried they won't hold up to the subtank. I like how I don't need to crank up the wattage on them also. I'm not sure there's another subohm tank that you can get flavor and vape at 16 watts like a subtank. If there is I'm interested!

I'd have to agree Dan, the STmini's are great. I can wick lighter and run them between 15-20w so one 18650 lasts all day or wick heavier and run them at 28-32w for even better flavor. Either way, the flavor is the best out of all the new tanks I've tried for all of my flavors. Kudos to Kanger.

So, how the battery life on your Evic Vt's doing? Has anyone taken it all the way down yet?

I ask because I am concerned. It's advertised as 5000 mAh battery, but the battery indicator seems to drop rather quickly (more quickly than my iStick 50W). Just running 1.2 ohm coils at 13-14 watts, and after 2 days the battery indicator has dropped to half.

What's you experience been on your set-up?

2 days and your at half, it will probably be almost 4 days for you then

They probably improved the stepping of the indicator. The istuck was progressive. On istick First bar was like 20%, when you got to half way it went much quicker. This is probably more accurate.

Right on! That's the other huge thing. Being able to produce so greatly at low wattage helps your battery life. But everybody has different opinions on what they like. The only time I get frustrated is if I see somebody say their subtank sucks because it leaks or gets dry hits. I've had 0 leaks or dry hits, so I feel like they're just doing something wrong. Probably trying to run them at 30 watts or something.

Really? Idk man, I tried. I received it with no expectations, and somehow was still disappointed lol. Maybe it's because it's not glass or something? I mean I get big vapor out of it, just very muted flavor compared to subtanks. Then it has a silly design. A couple times I unscrew the top and the coil doesn't come with, so then I'm grabbing that and soaking my fingers in juice while steadying the tank so I can add custard to it to try to get some flavor. I just don't like it at all. It's all good though.
I wasn't that impressed with the Ego ONE Megga either. It wasn't bad flavor, and made surprisingly good vapor considering I use max-VG juice. My problem was the resistance wondering around all over the place. I only tried one coil, so I should probably give it another chance before giving up on it....or not.

How well does this mod carry in a pants pocket? Settings change? Fire?
In my opinion it's fantastic! I haven't had a problem with the button or knob when I've had it in my back pocket. (Although, I wish all mods had recessed fire buttons. It makes no sense to have them sticking out) The silicon sleeve is fantastic, too! grippy, but not too sticky.

Yep, battery life is totally impressive. I've been vaping really heavily with this thing (you know, the shiny new toy thing) And half full is all the further I've gotten each day. With all the highish-power vaping I did yesterday I'm sure I would've gone through two VTC4s in a VS.

I have been running a Kanger subtank mini, .1 ohm coil. Battery indicator shows half after 1 full day usage. Seems like the battery life is just ok. So for the past few days i am running VT in stealth mode. I have better battery life now. The included ego one mega tank.... yuck, leaked when i was on a 8hr road trip. 3 subtanks, no leaks. Guess ill drop the mega tank in the parts bin.

Has anyone seen the colored "sleeves" for sale anywhere? I MUST have a black one! This clear one matches nothing, and it'll probably end black if I use it long enough :)

Someone, earlier in the thread, posted VT condoms in the typical colors, including black...

I'm friends with a B&M Manager, so we do taste testing of premium flavor samples and try out new toys together, but he even understands why I do most equipment purchases online..

B&M is for ease of convenience if they are close to you, and for emergency repairs/parts/juice and well a cool place to hang with fellow vapers..

    UPDATE:
200 puffs in and I'm loving my yellow EVIC-VT (yes it's actually yellow) Now I NEED my black subtank lol
It's yellow? Mine is straight up orange. Is there 2 of them or am I colorblind lol.

I am patiently awaiting for my orange eV VT (eciggity described it as orange) to arrive and will be using it with my lemo drop and lemo 2. I opted not to get the kit due mainly in part to some of the comments on this thread on the mega one tank.

Anyone post up pics of the yellow/orange yet? I'm curious if some are yellow and some are orange. :vapor:

Sorry. The condoms were actually posted on the coop thread...
