ALL my atties? Every single atty reads 0.04ohms higher on the VT than on my dna.

Even the ego mega whatever tank with a marked 0.4 ohm coil reads 0.36 on my dna and 0.39 - 0.40 on my VT?

Regards
Tony

Absolutely, if he's referring to the 510 connection.

I agree. One hundredth (or four) is very very tiny. There could be something with the measuring circuitry that is different between the boards or something not electrically perfect with the connection. You have to remember that the resistance is calculated via the microcontroller that reads in 1024 (or more) increments. That is just for 10 bit a/d. Round up or down just 1 bit and that could easily equate to 0.04 ohms.

As long as it stays the same I wouldn't worry about it...IMO

I'm looking to get this tomorrow and was thinking of using a Delta II a buddy is giving me to go with it. 1)what do yall think of this set up and 2)is there a ni or ti option to go with that?
There is no option for a temp control atomizer (there is now) you can buy the rebuildable atomizer and build a Ni or Ti coil into it also.

There is no option for a temp control atomizer but* you can buy the rebuildable atomizer and build a Ni or Ti coil into it.

Not yet at least - the Innokin iSub TC is coming some time soonish, and that will have an in-tank temperature sensor :)

Smok would have you believe otherwise lol

Yeah, and they also wanted people to believe their mod had TC. I don't buy Smok products any more :)

Actually, I just did some Google-fu and did come up with the LVC-ni/ti heads for Delta II. I think the Delta will look pretty nice with the Evic VT. I will also probably pick up some other tanks that have ni/ti options just to play around a bit.

Would anyone who has bought an Evic VT recommend it for someone looking to get into temp control mods? For the price, the mod and tank seems like a good deal.
As a mod I think it's fantastic, but the mod only. Get yourself a better tank, something with a rebuildable deck.

My dual build mutation x reads 0.28 on dna, 0.32 on VT

My erlprinz reads 0.33 on my dna and 0.37 on my VT and the list goes on.

Damn that DNA is messed up. I can't believe it reads all those setups wrong lololol

My Evic vt preorder from Vaportekusa arrived this morning. Its working great so far and my only complaint is the ego one coil heads need more/bigger juice feed ports. To get a nice flavorful hit from it i have to close the airflow and suck juice into the coil head.
Ya me too, now after every 3 to 4 puff I will cover the air flow and suck the juice up and wait for few min before my next vape, damn....

Bear in mind that the 0.4 head is from the same manufacturer as the VT so they might be using the same chip to verify the resistance lol.

I do find it weird that the dna is reading everything lower HOWEVER the water test gives me strait 212F while I get more like 230F on the VT.

Weird huh?

Not at all really. There is just .04 ohms of resistance happening between the chip and the 510 connection. Whether that be longer wires to the battery or the style of 510 connector/solder point. Honestly, it really isn't weird no matter what your mind makes of it. Now if you had .04 resistance difference between two different Evic VT's you might have something to gripe about (one has a higher resistance value from same manufacturer). Different mods, different wiring, different 510 connector, different resistances.

As a first temp control mod, the eVic VT is a great choice based on price and features. However, as a first regulated device, it may be a bit overwhelming (but that is probably true for any TC device).

I agree with the others..... skip the Ego One Mega.... it's a Mega joke.
