Joyetech Evic VT 60W firmware check

Hello,

I am new to this forum and basically just wanted to start sharing opinions and reviews on a forum and chose ECF.

I actually had a question for any new owners of the famous EVIC VT 60W.

I ordered mine not too long ago and I know you can check the firmware by clicking the power button 20 times when it's off.

Unfortunately, this does not work with mine. all it does is after the 5th click, it turns on...but I don't get to see any firmware version whatsoever.

are the newer versions different in that way that you can't check the firmware version?

Hello, Dimegod and welcome to ECF. You are correct as I have heard the newer eVic's don't allow you to see the firmware installed. I don't recall what all the new firmware corrected so hopefully someone else will be around later to answer that question. Once you get 5 posts NOT 5 threads you can post questions in other parts of the forum. So sit back, say hello to others and enjoy your stay. vape on.

Thanks for the quick reply! well, at least this confirms that I have the newer EVIC VT models. (WHEW!)

Also, yes I am aware that I needed 5 posts and not 5 threads. I was just really concerned about this and I didn't want to post on a old EVIC thread to ask the question.
