I used to be into vaping making my own liquids, attys etc..
Then got tired of it and stopped vaping for years.
Got back to it with a Vuse and a Leap, realized too expensive but liked the no muss, no fuss
aspect of it. How low have the mighty fallen. Ha Ha.
Researched a whole bunch and ended up with the Joyetech WideWick mostly because I was intrigued
by the Pod Wicking system.
I'd like to emphasize that the Wide Wick System is a big win. No leaks, no dry hits Sputtering etc.. just a consistent vape.
Really does what it's supposed to do very well.
Others on this thread have put extensive reviews but this thread is limited to my impressions about a simple
device for those who like the disposable pods.
Pros
A. Atty is in the Pod. Vape it for a few weeks than an Easy Pod Change
B. No Buttons - Just fill and Vape Away
C. USB C Charging on bottom. No leaks when charged on the side and just about everyone should
have a USB C Cord.
D Top fill with pressure seal. Just stick the tip in and fill. Easy Peasy (That's what she said)
E Only one type of Pod is available 1.2 ohm. And this vapes around 12 Watts. No need for Pod Decisions. It's up to you
to tailor the strength of the Liquid to provide the right Vape.
E Vape quality. With a 50mg Salt Juice 50/50 PG VG the vape is like the Juul Vuse or Leap except depending on the liquid you use
tastier.
F Airflow control Two holes on each side cover one with your hand or scotch tape and the draw is more restrictive.
G. Very sleek design looks like a giant Bic Mini lighter. Unobtrusive. Very Light weight
H. the Pattern on the outside is very understated.
I. Economical the Device is easily found online undes $10.00 (I paid $8.95). ThePods with built in Atty are only around $2.50 - $3.00 a piece(I Paid $2.50) and are supposed to last 2-3 weeks
Negatives
1. No extra features a battery indicator would have been nice
2. If you are into sub Ohm vaping or low nic juices this is not for you . Vapes too cool.
3. Airflow Control - Would have been nice to have a Air flow control
4. A little longer than I'd like can't completely cover unit with my hands when stealth vaping.
Final Impression
This is all about not having to make decisions. Just fill and Vape.
It's a 5 star vaping device for the crowd that likes low watt high nic juices and above all simplicity.
Some people just want to easily fill a pod and start vaping with the only decision being what liquid to put in.
They also want a more low key looking device that won't attract scowls or attention.
