Your choice. If that's what you want to do, then do it. I hear vapers whinge about this on a regular basis. Sending a mod in for warranty work or needing to exchange a battery and it's drama because they don't have something else to use while the work is being done and it's "I'll just go back to smoking!" Fine. Do that.Your choice. I don't care about your personal habits. I care about mine and I find that option to be undesirable. I choose to have back-up gear and spare parts available to me to avoid being in a position where I have nothing to use.

If you buy something mechanical or electronic, it will break or wear out eventually. Maybe you'll drop it and it'll shatter. Maybe an O-ring will snap. Maybe it will spontaneously fry itself. Maybe aliens will beam down to earth for the sole reason of stealing your current gear. How you handle those situations are up to you.

While I do think it's a bit off an over reaction because of a faulty o-ring, I do get the sentiment...there are plenty of people who just vape and are lost with the tinniest error of the device....put some spare parts in the package with some instructions on common wear and tear issues that might develop and bingo...it's that more user friendly.
I wonder why more companies don't take a page out of the Kanger Subtank book on this one. Put in some extra o-rings, perhaps a screw or 2 and an extra glass...costs them nothing and makes the package that more attractive.
