My evic supreme battery level sometimes has a mind of its own. The battery level is erratic. The battery is newish, 8 months or so. INR18650-25R, Aqua/cyan color with a silver sticker.
I have a normal evic as well (recent firmware), that too behaves in a similar way, it has a genuine protected panasonic battery.
Strange thing is, sometimes they work perfectly for days, then suddenly the problems below happen.
When I plug it in overnight, it says "charging" but the next morning I use it and the battery is at about 5% (not common but it happens once a week or so).
Recent instance with the eVic supreme:
Today I know it had about 70% charge before I used it, after 15 minutes of vaping it cuts out due to low battery, I plug it in and it will say 'charged 100%' instantly, then I disconnect it and vape for a few minutes and it now says 57%. I remove and reconnect the battery, now it says 94%.
I always charge using at least 2Amps via a USB AC charger from the mains, not a low amp PC USB port.
I have a few AC chargers in use, it doesnt matter which one I use.
Firmware is 1.1 on the Supreme
I tried changing the battery capacity setting in the evic menu, made no difference.
Seems like the firmware on both devices has bugs.
Anyone else seen this phenomenon?
