I just noticed that one kind of juice will plug up a carto much faster than another. When using my favorite juice, I typically need to change cartos after just 4 or 5 fills, due to it being tough to draw. A carto being used with another kind of juice will go over a week without needing to be replaced. It's the opposite of what I'd expect. The juice that plugs them up faster is PG based while the other is 100% VG, which is thicker. Could it be impurities in the PG juice? I've tried blowing them out and sucking and blowing water thru them, but once they're plugged I'm screwed. Anyone have a better method of unplugging cartos?

Is the juice that is clogging you up a darker colored one? Sometimes they will clog up and get gunky inside the center tube in my cartos. I take a needle and gently ream it out. Sometimes that fixes the carto for me.

I'm not a vet but just a thought.

Gosh darn, you nailed it. It is much darker and running a bent paper clip through the hole really did improve it. Thanks much. You just saved me some $$$, by being able to refill these cartos more times before I toss them.

My pleasure...I'm a quick learner for a non vet. I figure if I can calibrate radiation detection equipment I can figure out how to de-gunk a carto  Worst case scenario you ruin it and toss it like you were gonna do before!

I actually just improved on this idea. I reamed out my carto again and actually made it worse this time. So, I popped off the cap on the mouth end and inserted the straightened paper clip thru the center of the hole in the atomizer and carefully ran it all the way thru and out the battery end. I then took a kleenex and cleaned off the paper clip before pulling it back out again. The carto now vapes like a new one again. I could sure kick myself for tossing out all those cartos after they started being tough to draw.

LOL, yup that's what I do and I've tossed some that could have been salvaged :) I learn something new every day!
