hi everyone.

been reading this forum for almost 4 days now. ordered our 501 starter kits a few days ago. the separate liquid order came today though. i was all excited, i thought it was the ecigs (hee hee). it was wrapped in bubble and was cold, it's cold here but i'm thinking, does it need to be refridgerated?? i want to open it and take a sniff. will that do any harm, or should i wait till my package arrives? i think we (hubby and I) are going to have to invest in some variety of juices. i wish he would read this forum. i feel as if i am more informed and "ready". he is taking my word for it. i tried to explain to him that we might prefer, after awhile to go with other flavors. he didn't like that too much. i tried to explain that after smoking analogs less and less we are not going to like the taste of the tar, tobacco, etc. he begs to differ (he's a die hard i guess). will keep everybody posted for the news!

Hi! Welcome to the forum! The first thing I do with my liquid is open it and smell it!
It won't hurt it at all...you will be opening it a lot to refill your carts! I also never thought there would be a time I didn't like the taste of cigarettes, but I really don't like the taste of them at all! They really taste yucky! But I love the taste of a good cappuccino, or blueberry crumble!! :)

thanks for the quick replies. i did open and take a sniff (it was hubby's Kamel), not too bad.........

i did put in the fridge though, wrapped in it's bubble, in it's us postal box, like it was some kind of medicine!

i will remove it and find a better cool place. it does get hot here for 5 months out the year (110+). we either have cold or hot, hardly anything in between but a couple of good months.

i hope our kits arrive soon. i'm soooo ready!!! we smoke outside so it will be "refreshing" to say the least to come out of the cold!!! we have never smoked in this house (since the beginning---7 years), hubby made a rule, and despite the hot or cold weather, obliged knowing it was a good choice.

i'm sooooo looking forward to the many benefits i have been reading here: better breathing, more stamina, so lingering smell, no more trying to cover it up with perfume, lotions, etc.

i have also read alot about the problems with some of the tech stuff. but i am prepared to invest a little time to make this work considering all the time i invested searching for the cheapest, most flavored ciggies (not used to calling them analogs??), lighters, having to rush to the store before they closed, etc.

hubby has tried the nic gum, and now he is at 2 packs a day. i've tried anti depressants, and the patch, neither worked and the patch gave me terrible nightmares--i felt i really needed to smoke after that! i'm at currently 10-15 per day, based on boredom and stress level.

was raised around smokers (2-3 pack a day pall malls), indoors, car windows rolled up.........grew up to hate it, but started anyway -- go figure?

Yeah - same here. I think perhaps you get some nicotine liking from breathing around smokers. But it's still my fault for taking it up... I didn't start smoking because because I had to, I did it because it was 'cool'. :|
