I notice every time I add juice to my nova and I've read that others notice it. Why does juice darken from when it is put in a tank? Is it becoming more concentrated or responding to heat?
Heat. Often a sign your voltage or wattage is too high. You're burning the juice in many cases. If there is a substantial change, you're burning your juice. Dial it back to 7 Watts or so and see if that helps. Different juices respond differently to heat. Dark, sweet, pastries show the greatest darkening in my experience.
Yeah, some tanks (and at some particular voltages) will darken your juice. Normally it's nothing to worry about, but if you're getting a burnt taste, it's recommended to check/clean your delivery system.
