Wow, so last night I topped off my Vivi Nova so I could just grab it and go to work. This morning, I wake up to find that there is a pool of juice around my Provari. I was like w...t....f, the Vivi Nova must have kept wicking the juice until the coil was flooding and started dripping down the air post. There is juice all over the top cap 510 connection and the drip well. I look and see that there is no juice dripping around the Provari...uh OH. I unscrew the bottom battery cap and I cross my fingers. I see that there is juice soaking the bottom battery cap AND there is juice soaking my AW IMR battery:mad:. Hell no, I clean everything with a paper towel and re-insert the battery, thank god it fires fine. I'm glad it didn't short out any internal circuitry.

So basically, the juice found its way THROUGH the 510 end cap, all the way down to the tube, and leaked through the battery vent hole and created a circular pool of juice on my table.

Is the Provari 510 connection end cap supposed to leak like this? I've never dropped it once, there isn't even a knick or scratch anywhere on the Provari. It's only 3 weeks old.....

Just my opinion but if there is e liquid inside of your provari you should pour rubbing alcohol inside of it a couple times to clean the board and let it air dry for a couple hours...That will clean it out good for you

is rubbing alcohol the same as isopropyl alcohol? So you want me to pour the alcohol inside where all the circuitry is?

For the record I haven't had too, but I would if in the same boat. But I will say I wouldn't use isopropyl.. Don't like the smell, and I think it leaves more residue than everclear, but I could be wrong about the residue..

I would even go so far as to put in alcohol a few times and shake it up before pouring out for excess to evaporate..

1. Remove the battery

2. Using some 99% isopropyl alcohol, pour a small amount into the tube so it goes down where the circuit board sits.

3. Gently shake the device so the isopropyl alcohol swirls around inside the tube.

4. Now pour it out and let the unit dry.

5. It's important to let it dry completely before installing the battery again.

It's a good idea to leave the end cap off and leave it overnight to dry. Then try again.

If you cannot find 99% isopropyl, you can use 91%.
91% has more water, so it will just take a little longer to dry.

If you use some canned air or an air compressor you can blow out the excess isopropyl and it will speed up the drying time.
