First off, I am not affiliated with this company whatsoever, I am just a new member and PV user and wanted to let some people looking for good e-juice about a site...

My order from Halocigs.com just arrvied, a 5-sample tobacco flavor pack. I saw the site on an e-juice review forum, where they rated halo #1 in juice taste and quality...

I absolutely LOVE the "Midnight Apple" flavour, as well as the "Tribeca" flavour (their signature one). Very professional packaging, site, and service. Will definitely be ordering from them again! Price was $24, plus 2 or 3 bucks for USPS shipping.

Loved the packaging it was shipped in as well, a tin container with foam holders for each of the 10ml vials!

(I Tried to insert the photos I took, but the site just "hangs" whilst uploading for some reason)

Yep, Halo Tribeca was what kept me vaping after I was disgusted with the cheap, nasty, Mistic, Clayton, and Tsunami eliquids that were available in my town when I started.

Now I DIY due to the fact that I go through about 200ml a month ($6.42 for 200ml of my DIY RY4 Frankenstein mix compared to $139.93 + shipping for 210ml of Tribeca - Why yes, yes I am cheap)

I don't think if I would rank them #1 in juice taste, but it is good, and Halo has always provided good products and excellent service.

Congrats on the new juice! I haven't tried Halo's juice yet, but many folks speak very highly of Tribeca.

Enjoy!

I would recommend everyone try Tribeca, that and the Belgium Coca. The Tribeca alone is fantastic and I find the Belgium Coca is too much by itself but adding that to any juice provides a smooth Coca kick. I enjoy it so much that I have not ordered Bobas Bounty since and that was my ADV for a year solid.

The best , by far, imo is the midnight apple. Very subtle flavor, thick and rich and smoky. Tribeca is good, but I also quite like torque66 (currently vaping that).

Will be ordering again for sure!

Although I do notice a slight "chemical" flavor when I hold down the vape button for longer than 3 or 4 seconds and inhale. Shorter bursts tend to avoid that flavor thou. Not sure if it's the juice or my PV. (?)

Just a point for halo juices, well any juices really. Sometimes they need to age or steep. Especially at times when they are busy, you may get a fresh batch that will have a weird "chemicallyness" to them.

If you get that, just leave the caps off for a day or so, then replace the caps and put them aside for a week or so - giving them a good shake every few days.

I used to vape Tribeca a lot back when I first started (I still have a 30ml juice bottle unopened in my vape chest), and Belgian cocoa was one of my favorites too. Now, I find all Halo juices have an underlying chemical taste to them - and I cannot even stand smelling the Belgian cocoa without feeling nauseous.

But I'd still recommend them as a juice supplier as I used to like them a lot back when I first started.

Any significance to this "chem" taste? Any idea what it could be, and is this something that perhaps many ejuice brand tend to have in common or this a Halo thing?

For me it's a Halo thing. They seem to use a similar base for a lot of their flavors. Don't get me wrong, I used to really enjoy their juice. It is well worth giving them a try - the juice sampler kit mentioned by the OP is a good deal. You get 6 X 7ml bottles all in a cool presentation tin for $25. They currently have a 10% off sale too.

Now as for the "chemicallyness" I also get an underlying flavor from some other vendors, but I can get rid of it usually by leaving the caps off for a day or two. I think it might be alcohol they use in their flavorings.
