Most of the juices I vape don't really specify what the PG/VG ratio is but wondering if anyone else has had any inflammation in their chest region due to it? I know I need to switch up my juice but am at a loss on what is causing me issues. I've been to the doctor and had every possible test ran and my lungs are fine, heart is fine, everything is good. But, I've been having almost a tenderness in my chest muscles - I even briefly had costochondritis and I feel almost certain it's due to vaping since when I don't do it, it goes away. I don't want to start smoking again but have been vaping for about 2 and a half years and this problem is only within the past 4 months. It's not every day or unbearable but if I knew that PG or VG caused more inflammation then it might be easier to make some changes. Also, I tend to vape Charlie Noble and Space Jam the most but neither of them really are specific on the ratios. Any suggestions on other juices to try?

You are right CN does I just found it. Space Jam does not. I am more or less wondering if people are typically more like to have adverse reactions to PG or VG. Most of the juices I vape are a blend while some lean more towards one versus the other. I also vape Nikoticket. I do have some unflavored and it's a blend of 70VG and 30PG. I'll switch to that for a while.

Why do you doubt 70 VG? I vape 70/30 80/20 VG/PG 95% of the time.

Most manufactures even the basement brewers not too long ago were using a 50/50 ratio some even more pg % and it just seems a little odd some 4 months ago the op is developing "inflammation" in his chest.
VG does take longer to dissipate through absorption in the bronchioles and tends to give a weighted chest feeling, for me, lowering my vg has helped although it's just a starting point for the process of elimination ...........

I do my DIY at 70/30 VG/PG minimum and most of what they sell at my local Vape Shops is higher VG and I have never seen any 50/50 at a B&M. Now granted I an not big into the flavors sold at B&M shops but this is what I am noticing. Online I see many options to order at lower VG ratios. I prefer higher VG and do not get better flavor with more PG as I see so many say. I actually buy my Nicotine in VG and look for VGD Flavors.

VGD = VG Dominant

Your google-foo fails you.
Regular SpaceJam is 50/50, hi VG range is 30% PG/70% VG
Consider the FLAVOURINGS in the juice to be the source of your issues.
Good luck

I don't know why it took this many posts to get a straight answer, but the answer to your question is that PG causes the most problems. 1 out of ten seems to be sensitive or intolerant to it at some level (not to be confused with being allergic to it, that's far less common).

I've been vaping for years but never noticed I had a PG intolerance since I changed equipment recently and had my juice-consumption go up consequently. I suddenly got sores in my mouth and an inflamed throat. I innitally thought I had a throat infection but all my complaints went away the moment I switched to max VG (I use 100% VG now mixed with about 8% of distilled water and 10% flavoring).

Luckily I'm not so sensitive to it that I can't use PG based flavorings neither.

I'd try ditching anything with PG for a day or two if I were you and see what happens.

Good luck!

Most of the e-Liquids I buy have always had the VG/PG ratio clearly displayed and I just checked a couple of bottles I got from my local B&M with samples and some of them do not have the ratio listed. Checked the website and they list only 70/30 VG/PG on one which is Coil Sauce and the other Space Rocks does not list what ratio is at all and has nothing but bad reviews.
