Today's question: I have a couple of different setups where I'm running coils from 1.8 ohms to 2.5 ohms. Would I be wise to run lighter juices in the lower-ohm coils (obviously at lower voltage)? Darker juices more specifically in the higher-ohm coils (where I can kick up voltage a little bit (Vision Spinner 1300)) so as to minimize clogging the coils? (Typically 60/40 or 50/50 juices)

Again, thanks for opinions/advice :)

If you're on a variable voltage/wattage device, the resistance of your coil doesn't directly matter. Personally though, with all things being equal, the higher-ohm coils will probably provide you with a better vape for both light and dark juices so long as you can adjust the amount of power you're putting through them.

Why? Because (when using the same guage wire) a higher resistance coild means more wraps, which means more surface area. You'll probably find a sweet spot in the amount of power you use, and that will definitely be different for lighter/darker/sweeter/fruitier liquids.

What gauge wire are you using?

penmoid - Sorry, wasn't specific ahead of time: EVOD tanks - standard Kanger coils - haven't "grown-up" to building my own....
