Okay guys, in light of recent events I have found out that my rootbeer flavor (that I LOVE) is not a good juice for a reo due to the fact it lingers long after switching juices. What are some other type of flavor profiles to avoid in your reo to avoid flavor ghosting in the tube and the bottles? I would appreciate if you gave the type of flavor, like cinnamon, mint, tobacco etc. instead of the name the company gave their juice because sometimes the names don't really tell you what the juice is. An example of that is Moo Juice from MBV. Thanks.

It's crab juice. I highly suggest you avoid putting crab juice in your Reo.

Seriously though... a good washing will get rid of most anything, minimizing what you describe as "ghost flavors." You could be kind of cursed with really sensitive taste though as well...

I would never put Radiator Pluid in my Reo... not unless I wanted to dedicate a Reo to it. I love that flavor, but yeah that's only getting dripped into an RDA, plus it's definitely not Reo worthy to me as an all day vape.

I haven't had a problem with that, but I've only been using the Reo for a couple of months. I would guess that anything with a strong anise flavor would stick around - I've heard Pluid is almost impossible to get rid of. I would also hesitate to use anything that was TA heavy - it's very oily. I have some for DIY purposes that I've diluted down to about 5%, and it still leaves a ring in the juice bottle.

about a year ago, I ran into a tobacco flavoring that was pretty darn strong nutty smell. I mixed up a cup of warm water with about 4 tablespoons of baking soda and filled the juice bottle and squirted it up thru all the tubing and such after about 4 run thorughs I then took the 5th bottle and filled it, squonked the soda/water mixture and let it sit a couple of hours then rinsed everything really good. The smell and flavor was gone :)

Legend from HHV. I can't even begin to describe the flavor, but it is distinct and definitely lingers. I would never put it in my Reo. I have a bottle left from about 8 months ago when I was still buying liquids, and every once in awhile I will throw some in a dripper for a throwback. No chance of switching flavors without tossing the wick and rinsing the deck / cap / drip tip.

It's a damn fine liquid if you are into NET, especially of the pipe tobacco variety.

Remember, your 6mL bottle (as well as your Reo Grand) is dishwasher safe. Take advantage of this fun fact!

In news from Bizzaroland.
I use HHV Legend a LOT, and have never had a problem with it lingering at all, and that's just with a quick rinse with water..

Every juice is good for every Reo, thats why we buy more.

Oh and don't put Pluid in your Reo and then expect to use anything else......ever.

I had Pluid in one of Reo's on Tuesday and now it has Banana Bread. Just dedicate a tube, bottle, cap and oring. You can never taste it after switching those. And if you soak those components in rubbing alcohol for awhile you can use those too.

Ive put quite a few strong flavors through my reo, including mint candy, coffee, cinnamon, and a very strong grape medicine flavor (tasted like dimetapp) and I am currently vaping on a vanilla custard flavor with no "ghost flavors". I clean my reo thoroughly when switch flavors though. Scrub it down with a toothbrush and some dish soap and its good as new.
The only think i notice is that the tube keeps a bit of flavor remnants. I usually soak my bottles and tubes in vodka after a harsh flavor as well and that seems to take care of the issues.

How hard is it to remove and replace the tubing without damaging it? I only have one tube at the moment, I would like to use some other flavors but I do not want to risk tearing my tube right now, especially since I don't have a replacement. I have squonked hot water and soap through it but I have yet to attempt to take the actual tubing out. It seems kind of finiky and I'm having an issue with my large hands on the inside of the Reo lol

I have a not entirely rational like of Magic Green Fairy - absinthe, kiwi, menthol. It sticks around some. Not pluid levels of hazmat residue, but it does linger.

Unintentionally, I've got one reo dedicated to it - I just never seem to not want it available to vape, although it's not my ADV, so I'm happy to have it loaded at all times. Prior to settling to that, however, I tried to clean it out thoroughly - no go, there was residual fairy in the vape despite washing and alcohol rinse (plus new coil and wick).
