Juicy fingers?

How concerned should I be about getting this juice on my fingers? Seems like I'm constantly "topping off" the carts. The juice is quite oily and seems to stay on my fingers. How worried should I be about OD'ing on this stuff? I've been at it now for a couple of weeks, and try and wash my hands often. Do I need a haz-mat suit to refill my carts?

Sorry for the noob question, but this seems the place to ask.

You should wash it off when it spills on your hands. I always wash my skin if it gets on me. I think thats a pretty good defense against ODing. I would think you would probably have to have a couple gallons spill on you and just lay there and not wash it off to od. A couple drops can be vaped in a second so to worry about a couple drops on your fingers, instead of in your lungs is probably being overly cautious.

You mileage may vary depending on nicotine level of your juice, but I don't bother washing my fingers anymore, I just wipe them off on a paper towel or my pants or something.

There was a story on here about a guy who fell asleep and his electronic cigarette was resting on his jugular vein and leaked out all of his 24mg nicotine juice (at least a milliliter or two if I remember correctly) directly onto his jugular and he didn't feel very good at all when he woke up.

Ah yes, here's the thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ing/38191-warning-dont-go-bed-your-e-cig.html

glad this is getting answered. As an also uber no0b I've noticed a little juice on my didgets too. Wash 'em pretty often, as I have kids. Was considering wearing a pair of thin disposable goved when preparing my carts- sinc I seem to make a bigger mess then but not worrying about a touch when dripping.

I just have my supply of little cut paper towel pieces and I wipe with one of those.
Early on I had caught myself thinking of just licking my fingers but that passed really fast when I engaged my brain into the process and thought about the fact that I would be licking nic juice even though is was yummy MsTs Chocolate Covered Bavarian Creme Eclair e-juice.
I am a LOT more careful and wash when I work with DIY juice at 60mg.
I think this is like most things, a little is OK but the cumulative effect is probably not so good over the course of filling a few carts ahead of time for a days vape.

There's no doubt that nicotine can and will be absorbed into your skin quite rapidly although in a very diluted state and wiping it off immediately is what I do.

However, caution is in order if and when you are mixing your own juices and are working with a high mg level of nicotine liquid. I have a bottle of 60mg unflavored nicotine that I am extremely careful with when handling. An overdose of nicotine can kill you and spilling a large volume of high mg strength nicotine on your skin should be washed off immediately.

I lick the big drops off with my toungue and wash the remaining residue off in the sink. Don't freak out.
Now this is a funny picture.
Thanks for the insight into special techniques reserved for only the most experienced vapers with numb tongues. I guess it is good that this forum is typed not spoken...
