Hey (VAMO QUESTION),

Im new to this forum. There is a hell of a lot of info on here!! I have already spent hours reading and venturing through all sorts of things.

I started with a SkyCig. Didn't take long to realise what a load of junk it is! I then went on to purchasing a lovely Vgo 2 starter kit from Jac Vapour which was much better. Great battery life and vape. But the clear tanks are rubbish and leak.

I recently bought a V1P starter kit from Jac Vapour as I wanted something portable that I could take out. Its perfect!!

Now having a dive into this forum I am very eager to get my hands on a Vamo! I want to taste some real juicy juicyness!

I would post this question in the Vamo section but I can't yet. But just in case anyone can help me here, here goes.....

I am going to purchase a Vamo V2 Chrome from Vapor Break as it seems to be the cheapest around. I am not bothered about the wait at all.

I am then going to purchase the [h=1]4pcs Panasonic CGR18650CH 3.6 Volt Li-ion shipping free 18650 Battery 2250 mAh[/h]from Amazon to go with the [h=1]JETBeam IntelliCharger i4 Charger - 2nd Generation - for charging 18650, 16340(RCR123), 14500, etc.[/h]Also from the giant known as Amazon.

So that's the Vamo, batteries and the charger sorted. Now all that's left is the tank I presume. And of course E-Liquid but I already have some of that.

I don't know where to start with tanks but iv got plenty of time to find one. I tend to just find one that everyone else keeps mentioning. That's how I made my above decisions.

Am I heading in the right direction?

Also how long do these tanks last roughly?

Thank you so much to any info provided :)

Tim :vapor:

Go to smoktek and you will find everything you need. They have reviews too. Essentially, you will need a DCT tank, cartomizers, and a drip tip and you are good to go. How long will a carto last? Depends on your vaping habits and choice of liquids (some really gunk up the carto) but generally, maybe two to three weeks.

Happy Vaping!

Edit* Oops, you are in UK. I'm sure there is a good online vendor in the UK that you can search for on this forum.

The first tank setup I bought was the Boge F-16. The system, overall, was nice. The bottom cap has a recessed area for flared cartomizers, which is nice because the tank won't slide off the bottom of your cartomizer and spill your juice all over. I bought a 5 pack of the pre-punched cartomizers for the F16, and I found that the holes were too small for the VG heavy liquids I was using. This lead to quite a few burned cartomizers, before I caved and bought a carto punch to widen the holes.

Lately though, I've found the Boge cartomizers to be pretty inconsistent. The pack of five 3 ohm cartos I bought a couple of weeks ago had three that were between 2.5-2.8 ohms, one that was 3 ohms, and one that consistently changed from 3.1-3.6 ohms.

I have since switched to SmokTek cartomizers. I get consistent readings with these, and have had no problems punching them myself. I'm primarily a dripper, but when I do put these in a tank I use a Phiniac Pyrex tank. So far, I love the tank. The quality is superb, though be it a bit pricey.

Edit: I've heard good tings about Vivi Nova tanks, but they seem to be hard to find lately. They might be your best bet for a starter tank.
