JuicyVapor
This is a review not only of the flavors, but the entire process, from ordering, to juice flavor. The juices are in bold, if you want to skip the rest.
Ordering/shipping
The website is fairly easy to navigate, although it is a little slow. They have a HUGE selection of flavors, you can spend hours browsing. The browsing is helped by nice organization into subcategories. Each time you select a flavor you can specify the Nic content, in 2mg increments from 0-24mg, you can also select PG or VG, as well as a PG/VG mix. Bottle sizes range all the way up to 70ml.
I ordered 9 different flavors in the little 3ML bottles. As they say right up front they do not have instant turnaround time, if you order on a Monday morning, your order will not be in the mail Monday afternoon. I ordered on a Sunday evening 5/22 and the order was received on Friday 5/27 in the mail. It came in a standard postal flat rate box. The bottles where in a small plastic Ziploc then wrapped in the postal service envelope, that was sealed, then placed in the box. Despite the disclaimer about "non -instant turnaround times, the shipping was still fairly quick. One thing that did strike me as odd was the lack of a USPS tracking number. In the years that I have been vaping I can’t seem to recall a vendor that did not email me the tracking when the order was shipped. Overall though, the lack of a tracking # is not a big deal.
Below are the flavors i ordered. All of them 25mg Nicotine with the PG/VG mix. I wrote a little flavor review for each. I used a 3.7 V Prodigy v3 with smok-tech 2ohm cartamizers for testing for most, for some I used the same 3.7 V Prodigy with a standard low res atty. I used a fresh clean cartamizer, and/or atomizer, for each different juice.
Amaretto & Coffee Juice
- The first thing you notice is the color. It’s not the thick, black viscous syrup like some coffee flavors I’ve encountered. It’s clear, and thin, yet not too thin. It’s a decent throat hit, maybe a little on the mild side. The flavor is very pleasant, some coffee juices tend to be a little too coffee heavy, but JuicyVapors has found a nice middle ground here. This one will be ordered again!
Bacon Juice
– An experiment for me I figured, for 2 dollars and change, why not. It’s a dark juice, yet not black, and not overly thick. I’ve never tried a Bacon flavor before, yet I’ve often heard it reviewed as “greasy”. I did not get that impression. I’m not quite sure how to describe the flavor; the flavor seems to come on the exhale. There is some bacon flavor there to be sure, but something else also… maybe a salty flavor? Probably not something I would buy again. But it was fun to test.
Banana Cream Pie Saltwater Taffy Juice
– A darker liquid, but not thick. The taste is astonishingly accurate, Banana cream pie saltwater taffy. It’s a smooth pleasant flavor, not a very strong throat hit. There is a very slight chemical or perfume taste, but it’s such a minor flavor element, it’s hardly worth mentioning. Nothing like the butterscotch (see below)
Butterscotch Juice
- very strange, certainly has a butterscotch flavor, but something else too, a weird chemical aftertaste, and a strong potent smell to the vapor. Won't be ordering that again, and the bottle will be thrown out.
Caramel Macchiato Juice
- A darker juice, but not black, and not thick or syrup like. This is probably the best coffee-base juice I’ve had. There is a definite coffee taste that is easily the strongest flavor, but the sweet caramel flavor really blends nicely.
Ecto Plasma Juice
– Bright green color, aptly named. Looks like the slime Peter Venkman was covered in. Excellent flavor, very citrus and you could certainly taste a lime flavor. One of more unique and better flavors i have tried. Not sure that it could be my “go to flavor”, but superbly enjoyable none the less.
Hypnotic Myst Juice
- It is very clear in color. Throat hit is strong, very strong, and almost too strong. It's hard to pinpoint the flavor. It's in the website’s tobacco section, so there must be a tobacco base, although that is not apparent in the taste. It certainly has some Cotton Candy flavor. Like the Ecto Plasma probably not a “daily vaper” but very nice on occasion.
Kettle Corn Juice
- Not very strong in the flavor department, but it does not taste bad. On a blind taste test i doubt anyone would recognize it as Kettle Corn. I’d image it’s hard to get a salty sweet kettle corn flavor in an Ecig juice. Very clear color, maybe no coloring at all. Probably not going to order that flavor again, but it won't go to waste either.
Tiger's Blood Juice
– The name is a very accurate description of the color. It’s red, no doubt. I’ve never liked menthol, but i wanted to try some things I normally would not. This experiment paid off, the menthol component is nicely balanced with the fruitiness, so as not to become overpowering. It’s a delicate balance to strike, but it was done well here.
After ordering such a wide range of flavors, one of the things I noticed was the consistency of the various juices. Things like the viscosity of the liquid, the amount of vapor produced, all remained fairly uniform.
Another thing worth mentioning, every juice was labeled the date it was made. They all have corresponding expiration dates one year for the date it was made. It’s a really nice touch, you know you’re not getting some juice that sat around in a warehouse in china, before sailing across the pacific, only then sit a vendor’s supply room till you order it.
Overall, i would highly recommend JuicyVapors.com. The huge selection means that there really is "something there for everyone" It's hard to imagine a person could not find something they liked. The available 3ml size is a fantastic way to test out that huge selection. The downside to the fantastic selection is you will find flavors you don’t like, along with those that you do. But take the opportunity to be adventurous with your vaping, try something you may not normally order, you might be pleasantly surprised.
Thumbs up to a vendor who makes good products, here in the U.S, sells them at reasonable prices, and such a large range of products that are constantly good.
