Amps = voltage divided by resistance. Whether you have 1 battery, 2, 3, 20...as long as they're in parallel, you're not getting any more voltage, and hence, no more amperage.

What you *do* gain by putting more batteries in parallel is endurance (mAh). This means that you're staying at a 3.7v level for (as an example) 100 puffs instead of 10 puffs.

I understand it increases "amperage hours".

Hey, I need help adding a USB charging port to this.
I was thinking of adding a (female) mini USB plug in the bottom to recieve a standard mini USB cable.
It would only "push" 5 volts so I don't see how this would damage the batteries if left plugged in for many hours or overnight.
Would I need some type of circuit, or overcharge protection???
