Hi, I'm new to this 'e-cig' scene, fyi. Anyway, I've been looking around. Many products seem 'generic' and seem like they would break very easily. I was looking at 'e-cig.com' because it was so cheap, but now I'm looking at Smart Fixx.

On to the questions - I read a review about SmartFixx. I check it out, and I want to buy it. However! There's literally only two flavors (Regular + Menthol). The thing that attracted me to the cheapo sites were the variety of flavors. What's a site where I can buy different flavors that would work for SmartFixx.

Personally, what site/brand would you suggest? My budget is about $80 if possible.

One last question - Where can I buy e-liquid to 'drip', preferably in the USA. o.o!

I REALLY appreciate you taking the time to read all this. Thanks. :)!

Hi There:

You know, I've tried many different so-called "flavors," and I would say they really are scents rather than flavors. But that's just my opinion. The most important thing is finding an e-ciggie that puffs well for you; in other words, an electronic cigarette needs to work properly and to your satisfaction if you are going to stick with it. Flavors can be worked out later.

I buy e-liquid from http://www.e-cig.com and/or http://www.freesmoke.eu/index.php/cat/c9_Postfilling-liquid.html and refill my cartridges. I also buy refillable cartridges from http://www.e-cig.com. These refillable cartridges are the white part that fits into the tip. They don't fit every type of tip used on the different brands of pen-style e-cigarettes. So what I do in that case is simply pull the clean wool out of the refillable white cartridges and insert the wool into the old cartridges and tips.

When I first started out e-smoking, I bought the cheapies and was very disappointed. Now I buy nothing but brand names. I puff full-time and need good-quality products that can withstand my constant abuse!!!

By the way, I'm from California, USA, and there are two Arizona-based electronic cigarette manufacturers that I know about. One is the Smart Fixx and the other is Njoy. Both have coupon codes, as you probably have already learned about from reading the posts in this forum.

Please feel free to ask any more questions you may have, as I remember when I was new to e-smoking, I really appreciated the help of Smokey Joe and Eric and Mark and others as I made the transition from real cigs to e-cigs.

OK, I'll try to answer your questions but mind you I am also a newbie. I started vaporing and joined this forum apx. 1.5 wks ago.
1) If you are in the US I would try to stay with US vendors. There seems to be many problems ordering from Europe and China.

2) I would wait until you could afford a "best in class" ecig which is more than the $80 you say is your budget.
I purchased first the NJoy ($109 + $20 shipping = $130.) and as a backup the Health Mini ecig from and ebay site ($35 + $15 shipping = $50) as a back up. I would not rely on a Health mini or any mini ecig if you are a heavy smoker as I am.

3) Until a couple of hours ago I was pretty happy with my NJoy. I have to wait until my next battery charge is finished before I find out if I have any serious problems with it.

4) The last I read the Janty Classic is one, if not, the best in class. But it is very expensive!

5) Evaluating the quality of an ecig is usually the amount of vapor one gets. It appears that if one uses the eliquid, one can increase the amount of vapor one experiences.

Mind you I am a newbie. Best advice read as many posts you can before you purchase and then ask questions.

Sann, go to http://www.myecig.com, a site run by this forum's very own Meltrex. Meltrex was an early pioneer on the forum, and became so enthused about e-smoking that he decided to sell the devices. To that end, he tested virtually everything out there and settled on only the very best ones. His starter kits are exactly $80. The Web site is under construction, so simply email him with your desires. I'm using an Electronic Cigarette pen style from myecig.com and it's simpy superb in all respects. Note that these are the cigs featured in RatindaHat's outstanding video. You want vapor? You'll get tons. And Meltrex personally tests every device before it's shipped. You won't be saddled with defective units -- that you'll have to pay to ship back to some place in China. Meltrex is OUR guy. Give him your business. You won't regret it. I only wish I'd had this e-cig before I wasted money on my e-pipe, e-cigar and mini cig. And I would have avoided three months of frustration that almost sent me back to real cigarettes.

So what is he selling?
What's the "name brand"?
It's hard to find out, E-cig......................who made it.
What cartridge fits what e-cig.

What are we really "smoking"?
He should not put up a website untill he's ready to show us what he has for sale......................

Man it's frustrating.
I spend about $ 700.00 in the last 2 months and I'm not happy.

I ordered the K.I.S.S. box, and am waiting. . . . . . . . . . . .

It better be good,if not I'm done with "E-smoking".

Myecig.com isn't a brand name; he sells generic devices straight from the factory. They are compatible with Njoy cartridges, and his cartridges are cheaper by half. I got all three models, and they all work great. The pen style is better than Njoy's. The super-mini is the best of the size I've tried yet, although the ones from e-cig-sales.com are nearly as good. And the middle size, the mini, puts out the most smoke of the three. I think you'd be happy with any of his.

I'm waiting for my KISS box too. And not very patiently.

i would guess there are no more than three large chinese factories making these things.. brand names dont mean much except some come more expensive than others.. for example a ruyan e pipe costs 350 dollars.. an e-cig e pipe cost 45 dollars.. one hell of a price to pay for a brand name..

or one ruyan cartridge cost 5 dollars.. damn near as expensive as printer ink.. he he he

OK, a battery charger was NOT the first thing I thought of! ;) ;)

But, yeah, I figured that's what it really was. :D :D

IF it works, it might actually be useful, even as goofy and potentially pornographic looking as it is. BUt I can't seem to find it on the site. Which really isn't all that credible looking a site, and was reccomended by a one post wonder. So I guess I'll have to pass. :D
